Court is well maintained and neat, but pace is not smooth.

Cool design, tight and short with interesting design, but the pace of play makes it unplayable for me. I booked on Golfnow and it looked pretty open on the site, but there were groups in front and behind me and I was unexpectedly paired up. Quit after 14 holes. Also the sprinklers were on on 13. Called it in and they said they’d take care of it. But 10 minutes later we decided to drop in the fairway.

Would be a fun place to pay if they managed tee times and pace correctly.

Way too much water on the fairways. Course played very soft.

Condition of the fairways seems to have deteriorated in the last couple of years.

I'm not a fan of courses like this. The layout means you are basically playing on top of each other the entire time. It's not terribly long, and the distance they try to squeeze out of the small space actually just means tee boxes are next each other and greens. The price is right and it's right outside Chicago. I'd probably play again, but it wouldn't be my first option.

Cut the rough. Losing balls 3 feet off the fairway is stupid.

Course is always in good shape the staff on a limited budget does a wonderful job..... They treat people the right way and the course is tight with plenty of challenges - but you can score...put this one on your list and go have fun golfing......it's a great place to unwind.

Played 18, 9 holes played in hour 45, second nine in 2 and a half, real slow. Had outing started them on back nine. They didn't alternate coming off 9. Not a good time.

Love playing this course, good opportunities to score early. I would say there’s two things to be aware of when playing here 1) there’s an absurd amount of geese 2) because of how close the tee times are it has a high probability of golfers ahead of you not maintaining the pace of play. I’ve had to skip at least 2 holes each round and just let the shop know and they always have been kind of enough to let me just circle back to finish the round

Geese poop and geese are everywhere. Tees are broken, nothing is up-kept, no starter, terrible greens. Overall deserves negative stars.

Haven’t played this in years. I had fond memories of the course. It is narrow, water in the right places , long but not too long. The course was in terrible shape. Goose dung everywhere, greens with holes and divots, shaggy fairways, and tee boxes that are full of divots.

Can’t really believe how bad it became. Quit after 14 in disgust.

3.5 Stars - it was too slow 5 hour round, but the course is not bad! They wont allow me submit this without the recommendation box checked, so I had to say Yes or No, I’d rather say maybe.
