Tennessee Centennial Golf Course

Just way to wet even though it has not rained in days and greens are in poor shape because of it

Pace of play was much better than the last time we played at Centennial. Course has a lot of character and is challenging. Will always come back on our way to see the Vols play

Not the first time playing this course. I generally like this course, but would be so much better if people would fix their ball marks. One of the worst courses I play with this problem. Also played behind someone who didn't (or couldn't) pick up their feet when walking on greens. Left marks on most every green. There are numerous course that I play in Knoxvillle where you do not have this problem to deal with.

The course was probably one of the best courses we have played while traveling. Personnel there accommodated us and made the round of golf very enjoyable,, starting with the fellow at the pro desk to the starter, to even the guy fluffing up the sand traps.. Very enjoyable day. Course has a mix of holes and unique layout that results in a lot of fun and spectacular views. We will be back!

The course is a beautiful one through the rolling terrain of Oak Ridge. The first hole is a bit intimidating but does open up after that. Greens are SUPER soft so expect to leave a divot, even on a pitch shot but that also allows you to attack the pins too. Also, don't trust the scorecard for distance. Make sure you use the GPS or you will be off on most holes. The GPS has speakers attached and you can listen to stations for music or pair your phone and play your own. Very cool feature!! I loved this course and want to play here again when I am in the Knoxville area!!!

Course is always well ran and the pace of play is generally terrific. The greens are in really bad shape though. Can spend less money at other places at the moment and have better course conditions.

We enjoyed the course. First time here for either of us. Not sure if you should blame the condition of some of the greens on the course or lazy golfer who do not fix ball marks. Greens were not bad but could be better. We will go back.

Sometimes technology can screw something up... Like golf! I'm sure I would have had a much better score if I were not preoccupied with the frustration of dealing with these stupid carts that this course had!!! Definitely is a beautiful course though!

Played course many times. Overall enjoyable. Fairways and greens really in good shape. A few bogus golf holes, particularly 18 which is a shame as it leaves that bad taste. Holes 10-15 are some of the best in the area.

This course is cut out of the woods and hills near Oak Ridge. As such there are very few level lies. There are several holes that require lay ups off the tee Greens are undulating and can have some very difficult pin placements. The downside affect of the aforementioned issues is slow play. We teed off early and our threesome played in 4 1/2 hours as we waited for the groups ahead to clear a hole. Too slow for my liking.

Not all the problems with the course are due to course maintenance. The majority of the greens were peppered with unfixed divots. I counted 15 or more around my ball on most holes. Tee boxes on a lot of the holes had no grass.
