Tennessee Centennial Golf Course

Booked tee time for 7:16 am wasn't able to hit range balls the man running the pro shop wasn't there until about 7:05 am we got there early just to hit the range that is my only complaint

It is a fun course to play, but sometimes a little pricey relative to other courses of its caliber. Prices have gone up compared to previous years with out any major changes to the course. I would of rated it higher, but knowing how the course will change in a month makes me rate it a little lower. If they could maintain the conditions of the greens for more then just March, April, and May. June is always an up or down month depending on weather. Usually mid June to early July ground hornets take over the green leaving mounds of sand in every putting line. The fairways get bare and you have a lot of thin lies. The tee boxes are non existent. I know the review sounds real negative, but I know I would want to know the negatives of the course. Given the previously stated the course is better then most during three to four months. I believe the biggest cause of the previous problems is over booking tee times. I give this course a 3/5 only because of a few months out of the year, if not I would give it a 4 for the area.

Good discount on Golf Now that saved us money on the weekend.
We enjoyed playing the course and plan to re-visit at a later date.
Convenient to north of Knoxville and easy to find.

Centennial was in immaculate condition. The parking lot was packed and yet the pace of play never slowed at all.

Although the course was wet it was not bad. The course is a fun course with many challenges. The staff is always friendly and the condition is not bad. Due to the weather and the time of year the course is well maintained. I would recommend to any golfer.

74* days in January are rare, and it almost caused me to forget that we're in the dead of winter. The course obviously isn't in peak season shape, but is better than it should be in January. I look forward to playing here in the spring. Great value, excellent layout with no two holes alike.

Weather was a major factor, very wet fairways. Overall a good course. Tight fairway drives.

Light rain all day long, very bad day for golf, but the course was in good shape for all the rain they had in the last few days.

I've played this course for years and it's a great designed course and is usually in great shape but the staff seems to have slacked off on the greens. I hope to see the course back in tournament conditions come spring.

We had an 11:40 AM tee time the day after Thanksgiving. The weather was pretty good for late November so I knew we'd be in for a wait, but when the course doesn't provide a starter, you've got issues. We paired ourselved with another twosome, and we finished just outside 5 hrs. Centennial is not a course for beginners, since 3 or 4 holes require a long carry (150+ yds) over water or ravines. Plan on a 5 hr round when you play here.

Interesting layout, but heavily used on weekends. Lot's of trap maintenance in progress. Decent value.

As a public course, this is a reasonably maintained track. Improvements are continually being made. Could surely use some work on tee-boxes.

The course has great potential but clearly needs some work. They are in the middle of a renovation to the sand traps which will be a great improvement but they also need to work on weeds on the fairways and the greens need major attention. This could be a great course in the spring but I would play Avalon, Willow Creek, Rarity Ridge or TN National over this course for the next 5 months.
They also need to do something about the novice players that do not understand pace of play. There were multiple players that took way too long and did not allow us to play through. A ranger was needed.

This is one of the best cared for Muni courses I've ever played. The course is always in pretty good condition and the staff is very friendly. This is a risk reward course where it is very possible to lose several balls. Great fun and challenging, well worth $35 per round.

I have played this course probably 3 times this year and each time has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the course seems to always be in very good shape. Very good course for the money. I recommend it.

First time played and the group enjoyed it. First hole is intimidating when you don't know the course well. Not a long course, so you will keep your driver in your bag on most tees.

The course is always well maintained and challenging. The course offers 4 different tees on each hole. So you can pick your poison. There are restrooms located at various locations on the course that were well maintained and clean.
The course offers a variety of challenges, by this I mean that there are holes that require hitting a landing zone to insure that your next shot will clear any trouble that lies between you and the green. The back nine offers a wider stage for the golfer that may slice or hook, but even tho you may find your ball the lie is usually challenging. I like all that this course has to offer in the way of amenities, challenges and a friendly staff.
