Good course to play
Didn’t get to finish the last hole because the pace of play was slower than normal. Ranger was being extra and yelling at us even though there could’ve been time to finish play. It’ll be a while before I decide to come back or not.
Amazing course, horrible management
Course was beautiful and in amazing condition. If you can play with no-one around you at peak time it would be up there for Chicago-land courses in my opinion. The pace of play was horrific for a Monday at 4pm, members will not let you play through and starter just lets people rip off right behind groups 7 minutes apart. All snack huts were closed and no beverage cart available. Would not go back for how crowded it was alone… it was really that bad.
Terrible tee time management
Showed up to the first tee 10 minutes before our tee time to see 4 groups ahead of us still waiting to tee off on hole 1. No need to say more
Well maintained.
Credit to the course superintendent for the quality work keeping up the greens, fairways and tee boxes. Most courses are struggling with burnout conditions this time of year. Not this one.
Nice
Very nice and very challenging course to play. Fast greens with a lot of adulation. Looking forward to playing the South Course
Excellent course conditions, will go back
I played the North Course. This course is maintained very well. Of the 40+ courses I played starting last summer in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin,& Michigan, this course takes the honors for course maintenance.
Golfed twilight and got 15/18 in. Good pace of play and staff was nice and let us a finish our current hole and the next before sundown with no rush
Help the greens
I have been playing Silver Lake North Course for over 50 years and the greens on the north course are the worse than ever seen so hard nothing stays and the speed is unreasonable for the average golfer Come on guys!!!
Silver Lakes in June
We did not realize Golf Pass does NOT offer senior discounts. We wouild have paid less at the course with their senor discounts.
First 9 took almost 3 hours. Then most left after 10 due to wait time and last 9 took under 1:30.
Greens incredibly difficult and poor pin placement.
No cart girl or halfway open.
