The course was Fun and wide open. No one on the course. We had a great round. Only downside was the food hut was closed. I am sure due to low volume of player's. All in all , we will be back. Mark

Great Day on a Nice Course
Extremely pleasant day topped out near 70 here in the Chicago south suburbs. The course was in fine shape as tee-boxes, fairways and greens were all fresh and green from the new spring growth and sparse play so far this year. South course is quite sporty as a par 70 with six par-3, eight par-4 and four par-5. Nice features and challenges including a 220-yard par 3. Silver Lake is a pleasant, well-kept mid-level course for the experienced golfer.
