Golf Advisor: Top 25 Short Courses in the U.S. (2023 #15)
Reviews
Good course but pace of play was very slow
Course was overbooked and pro shop was confused about my Tee time until I showed my confirmation email from Golf now. We waited on every hole and every shot was delayed 5-10 minutes.
Nice course
Short course that we finished in 2 hours walking. Greens are pretty challenging. Nice little course for the $,
HORRIBLE
No one there (at least on Rolling Hills course) to check to make sure you have a tee time. Every tee time on the app was open, got there, 3 walking groups ahead of us, probably just walked on without paying for anything. Stupid course.
Exceptional Course
I’ve played both the north & south courses at Silver Lake. While they are both good overall, the little par 3 Rolling Hills was exceptional. The course conditions were absolutely great. The greens/fairways were well manicured, no trash and a good drainage system.
Disappointing must of been a Monday
Feel like the course was over booked. Pace was slow.
Course was in great shape and enjoyed how it played.
Concessions were not open at 9:30 am - really
Great executive 9
Course was well maintained and had a great layout. We golfed the executive 9 for a quick Sunday morning. Highly recommend
Might be my new favorite 9 hole course!
A beautiful place to play golf, with a picturesque layout, and though a short 9 hole course, it will challenge your iron work, as most of these holes are par 3's. Overall, It was challenging and I loved it. I will definitely return!
Great ups and downs on a course!
If you like playing downhill par threes... this course is for you.
It was my first time and some holes are tricky but fun!
One issue, as soon as my friend and I got to the first hole to tee off, another pair follows up and asks which tee time we have... 8:10. So do they, so I guess they double booked and still did the pair. It was kinda be quick or be dead playing at that point but still fun.
I will definitely go again and make sure I don’t get double booked.
Great little course!
Could have brought just my driver, wedge and putter and would have been fine. Had fun despite the sogginess!
