Fox Bend Golf Course

Why do some courses require 2-4 players.

This excludes courses that I want to play.

SUGGESTION: Have those 2-4 courses change to 1-4 players an hour before tee time. I know there are others like me that would play those courses.

(Note) I play 4-5 times a week.

Went on as a single and paired with another gentleman along with two elderly...interesting group, but very slow pace. First time to play course and found layout to be relatively easy, had a few doglegs which posed some challenge along with some interesting pin placements on undulating greens. Overall pleased with experience and would play again for a relaxed game ...

Very impressed with the overall experience at Fox Bend. The pro shop staff and tee starter were very friendly and helpful. The course layout is exceptional. Each hole was different from the rest with good variation on yardages - especially the par 3s. Turf conditions were excellent on all tees and fairways despite a few of the fairways that had been aerated. The third green was close to being fully recovered even though previous recent reviews claimed it to be nearly unplayable. Otherwise, all of the greens were smooth with consistent speed. The course ranger was hardly noticeable and kept his distance - probably since the pace of play was quite fast. I will definitely return again to Fox Bend.

Some difficult hole. Course is in good condition. Staff very friendly.

This time the greens were very bumpy making putting challenging. Otherwise, a nice course to play

I got called in because of lightening and it was pouring Thursday. Could not get a rain check. I was told to call Golfnow

course was in good shape except for the 3rd green, which was awful. Course is fun to play and challenging too. Back nine is a great layout.

Dead spots on the greens as well as air rated the greens. Should have sign posted or told by the check in they were... Fairways are really hard and can get hurt taking a divot

The aeration used 3/4" borer and the giant holes were not filled with sand. This created extremely difficult putting surface. I have seen another course using the large aeration holes and even after 3 years the the greens have not recovered. If Golf Now has any say, play use your influence to prevent such irresponsible aeration technique.

Fairways average. Rough was too deep for a public course.

Very good condition and price. Pace of play was great.

Great course..... One if my favorite it the western suburbs.

The course is in very good shape, especially for late March in Chicagoland.

One of the nicer public courses in Chicagoland. Normally great conditions. Several interesting holes - 3, 4, 5, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18.

If you can find a deal somewhere, it's a great value as well.

Fox Bend is a course with large tee boxes, fairways
lined with mature trees, large tricky greens that
are guarded with sand bunkers and water on a
few holes. This a mature courses that presents a
fair challenge for all.

Compared to other courses this time of year, this one is in top condition. The greens were in great shape and hardly any leaves on the fairways. I will come back next week and golf in Nov is to be appreciated.
