Fox Bend Golf Course

Great shape and challenging. Highly recommended . Good bar and restaurant with a good deck.

From the time I entered the pro shop to the end of our round, everyone was polite and professional. No "starters" on this course - they are called "players assistants" and they are as good as any course I have played. Even though the area had heavy rain the day before my round, the course was in good shape with wet areas roped off to prevent further damage. Many great holes but number 17 is a favorite! Also, great practice facilities....a must play!

I like this course. Some challenging holes and surprisingly well kept. My wife and I played with one of the employees and he was super friendly and helpful.

It has been over 20 years since I played here. The course is an excellent layout and in very good shape for a municipal course. I will play it again.

Pace of play was excellent for a Friday afternoon. Course was in really good shape. Greens were soft and receptive to shots but still fast and true. Cool layout. I would play it again.

We love this course! The staff is so kind and the beautiful big trees make even the warmest afternoons pleasant.

This is one of my favorite tracks in the Western Burbs. Great value and excellent condition. Food is good at half way and plenty of chances to get drinks from the Cart Person.
The course is challenging enough where you can play at any playing level and feel good about your round.
I highly recommend Fox Bend.

My friend and I were looking to play a quick 18 early morning. We got out on the first tee time and with cart finished in 2:45. Course was in great condition and the course workers were very nice to prep the greens and tees ahead of for the day. The reason I don't play as often as I'd like is pace of play. I was told they try and enforce 4 hr. rounds though out the day. That is a positive with me.Can't comment on the facilities, food etc. We were just looking a quick round of golf in the morning.

Pace of play was slow, but had a great time. Greens were in better shape than some other courses.

the winter must have taken a toll on this course. the majority of the greens barely have grass on them. if your off the fairway there is a lot of deadpan areas. the management must be living in the past with the price of green fees. it use to be a good course not now. I only played for the golfnow price of 20 bucks. probably won't play it again this year because I heard they were raising their green fees??

Great value for your money. The greens were not in good condition, the bunkers need more sand but the fairway was in good shape.

This is a solid golf course at a very fair price. the course suffered some winter damage, especially on some of the greens (bare spots, bumpy in places). It is a fun course to play, not killer hard, but not a pitch and putt either. The staff was terrific....very helpful, friendly, made you feel very welcome. I would play this course again

Starters and beverage girls were great. Everything else was a bad experience. Several years since I played here and it will be many more before I tee it up here again. Pro shop staff and rangers were surly. From tees to green the conditions were poor. They lost over 100 trees to the eab, holes all over the place. Understandable. Greens were hard as rocks, half dead, full of sand, and inconsistent. Fairways were also half gone, my lawn looks better. Fairways needed water. Trying to hit through was like hitting off a sidewalk.
We were paired with two walkers that needed walkers. So slow, lucky for us they left after a 3 hour front nine. Really a disappointing round. We won't be back.

10 yrs ago I loved playing this course, now, will not play again. Greens were terrible, rough was 4-6 inches deep and the gnats made the round miserable.

Great Staff, corse is in ruff shape after that long winter we had, I would love to come back when the get it back to normal

THIS COURSE IS USUALLY IN GREAT SHAPE, BUT NOT TODAY. IT LOOKS LIKE WINTER HAS TAKEN A TOLL. MANY GREENS NOT GREEN,AS WELL AS FAIRWAYS. I HOPE IT GETS BETTER AS I REALLY ENJOY THIS COURSE.

The course was really beat up and was in pretty bad shape. The greens were spotted with dead all over. The fairways were pretty rough too. For the price it wasn't bad but if I would have paid more I would have felt cheated.

The greens and fairways were devoid of green grass. A large part of the fairways and greens were dead grass, some greens had no grass at all. I understand it was quite harsh this winter but I have played several other courses in this area and none of them were as bad as this.

Just an overall great day on a great course. The greens as well as fairways were in great shape and several beautiful holes.
