Windy day. Greens were tined.(spiked) putted ok. 9 & 18 require perfect drives.

Beautiful course
Beautiful course, well kept and very challenging long holes. Able to finish in 3.5 hours as the day was hot and the course was fairly empty.

Good local course
Despite lots of rain recently and cart path only on last 4 holes, the course was in decent shape. The starter was very helpful with conditions and recommendations. The cart beverages came around several times. Fairways good but greens were recently aerated.

Excellent Round
Played PH for the second time this summer. Course was in great condition and is a good, fair test. Got done if 4 hours on a Sunday!! Sand was pretty good for a public course and the greens were in great condition for how hot it's been. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that carts run almost $20 per person - so the actual cost of the round with a cart is close to $70.

Hot and humid, but Palatine Hills Staff was on Top of their game!
Played at 12:00 on one of the hottest and most humid days of summer. Palatine Hills staff had water available every couple of holes and the rangers were constantly driving around with a jug of ice water! Huge appreciation in very draining conditions.
We had a lot of rain the night before. Palatine Hills does not take rain well. A lot of wet areas in rough and fairways. No ones fault, just a fact. Greens, fairways and tees were lush. Bunkers were the best I’ve seen in northwest suburbs all summer. Thanx again to the Palatine Hills staff for the hard work they are putting in to keep course in great shape!
