Challenging course with great playing conditions.love to play there.

Played on a Sunday morning. There were 2 or 3 groups of very slow players that held up the whole course. I called the pro shop from my cell phone to ask for a ranger. Was told they did not have one that day and that we should play through. You can't play through 3 groups. Ridiculous and Frustrating. 5:30 hours for 18 holes.

This was a fun course yet challenging due to elevation changes and the fact that you have to pick a landing spot for most tee shots. Its not just grip it and rip it for every hole. Fairways and greens were well maintained. The only downside was that they forgot to give me a scorecard.

Played first nine in 2hrs 20 minutes played 10 an 11 took and hour and we left.

Greens were very consistent and great shape. Very challenging with great variety between holes. Pace was excellent and starter fit our 2 some in 30 minutes earlier and again pace was great. 4-some in front only caught up on par 3s and same with 4 some behind us. Very relaxing Sunday

This course has always been a hidden gem for me. I grew up in the area and watched it being built on an old rock quarry (course drains well). Course was in great condition (greens were perfect). This course offers you everything, short holes-long holes. Wide open driving holes, extremely tight driving holes and elevation changes. One of my favorites!!

The day was perfect, weather was perfect. Played with my husband, we both golfed pretty good and really enjoyed our day at Prairie Isle.

This course is absolutely beautiful. Played again on 11/10 for my third time and loving it more each time. The course is in great shape and well maintained. Can't wait to play it in the spring. I imagine the greens will be fast with lots of breaks. Highly recommended.

Unique course with front 9 on interior and the back 9 around the exterior. Some interesting holes with water hazards.

The course was in great shape. Greens were smooth and fast and the fairways were cut so the ball would sit up nicely. You can also take a divot out here with little effort. A beautiful fall day with some nice views... only a few leaves out on the course and, overall, a really good course for the price.

couple of par 4,s were pretty long for me-67 years old and not very long but greens fairways, rough, tee boxes all in good playing shape

Fun course with some fast greens. A few narrow fairways to hit, but a very enjoyable course. Leaves are starting to fall and they were working on a few of the tee boxes, but still a great Golf Now deal.

Course in great shape. Traps raked and edged. Pace of play was 4 hours. New towels on ball washers. A great value for the money. Will play this course any time.

Hilly course with great elevation changes and nice
greens...they could be a little quicker for my taste..

Really no homes on course so scenery is great.

Beautiful course, well maintained, and the staff is very welcoming to new arrivals. Senior friendly course and a very interesting layout....a real gem for McHenry County.

The deal was excellent compared to the standard price. The course was in good shape. Greens were a bit fast. Some of the tee boxes needed watering but the fairways were good.

From the first tee till the 18th this course will keep you on your toes if the wind is blowing maybe move up a set of tees so you enjoy the round. The greens are fast and true cant ask for anything else.

Course was in great shape. Greens were fast but rolled very true. Hadn't played the course for 10 years and Wow did it mature! Even though we played at 11:30 on a Saturday, pace of play was pretty good except for the guys we played with.

Every hole was a delight to play and had absolutely no issues with the pace or conditions. (my one regret is that there is no driving range, but there is one across the street that isn't open very early if you have an early round)
