A diamond!!
Prairie Isle was mentioned to us as a "hidden gem" when we were playing another amazing course...Foxford Hills. Having never played Prairie Isle, we said.."ok, let's try it". We are thrilled we did. It's a wonderful track with tough holes, scoring holes, water holes, hilly holes, dog legs, and fabulously well kept greens. The fairways and rough are very nice and the course is not horribly long, but long enough where you aren't driver/wedge every hole. I've introduced 4 other people to this course, and they have all been delighted with the course conditions and layout. (18 is tricky and the length on the card does not do it justice. It is a 3 shot par 5). My ONLY knock is no range, but there are driving nets and a chipping and sand area with range balls already there.

Beautiful course
Challenging layout, many doglegs and water but fun.
Worth the Drive
Not easy to get to from the Elk Grove and Park Ridge area, but once you get there it's well worth the effort. Even just having a net to hit into to warm up not ideal but once you get on the course you forget all of that.
Very good condition, tees, fairways and greens.Plus there's plenty of challenging holes .
fun course
It is a fun course with elevation changes you won't see on many if any courses in the nw chicago burbs. Greens had a few pitch marks for this early on and they could use a ranger on the weekend to move the pace along. 5 hours for 18 is just ttoo long.

Love everything about this course. If they redid the cart paths it would be one of the most booked courses in the area at a higher rate

Very wet after we played but had the entire course to ourselves. Cool hills and water features

My buddy and I each drove 25 miles to play and once again we were not disappointed. Challenging layout, nice course conditions and friendly staff all combined to make it one of our favorite destinations.
