Slow play
I’ve played here multiple times and have frequently experienced slow play that is not addressed or managed by course personnel
1st time here
My son and I wanted to play around. Haven’t been over two years got together and played this course as it is close to my home. Neither one of us had ever been there. Really enjoyed the course piece of play could’ve been a little bit better.
1st time here.
I never played here before schedule an outing with my son and we really enjoyed ourselves. Really nice course.
Rude Starter
Played on a busy Saturday. Teed off on time and waited on shots first 3 holes. Pace was not bad for a public course on a Saturday morning.
2:15 for the front.
After a short restroom break on the turn we hit our drives. When we get to out shots stater comes out and says he's gonna let the group behind though cause they have been waiting on shots! What?
First he just allows them does not ask us to pick it up or anyting. Second he drove right buy us on 7th hole. Not a word. Third while we are on the back we see a 5 some on the front.
If your so concerned about slow play why are you allowing a 5 some?
In the end we still finished in 4:30 with a 15 minute wait for group behind us to play though on 10.
What a joke! We won't be back and we will tell everyone of our experince.
Starter was rude
Played as a single with a threesome.
At the turn, starter approached me and demanded I move to consolidate carts even though there were 30 available. I refused because I had been sick and he said he would add me to a list to never be permitted to start as a single again. I will not be back.
The cart fee you paid does not entitle you to your own cart. Did you offer to pay for the other half of the cart. I'm sure you would have been happily accommodated.
Beautiful Course
I was a bit hesitant to play as I heard a few years ago that it wasn't in very good condition. If that were true then, it certainly isn't the case now. The course was in near perfect condition. Everything was well manicured from the tee boxes to the greens. Pace of play amazing (3H 10M) for our twosome. Some nice elevation changes made for some difficult holes. Very fun course that I would definitely recommend and will be playing again in the future. Even more worth it if you can get in on a Hot Deal.

Course was fabulous. Conditions were great. Staff was ok
A diamond!!
Prairie Isle was mentioned to us as a "hidden gem" when we were playing another amazing course...Foxford Hills. Having never played Prairie Isle, we said.."ok, let's try it". We are thrilled we did. It's a wonderful track with tough holes, scoring holes, water holes, hilly holes, dog legs, and fabulously well kept greens. The fairways and rough are very nice and the course is not horribly long, but long enough where you aren't driver/wedge every hole. I've introduced 4 other people to this course, and they have all been delighted with the course conditions and layout. (18 is tricky and the length on the card does not do it justice. It is a 3 shot par 5). My ONLY knock is no range, but there are driving nets and a chipping and sand area with range balls already there.
I was in the group that played through yours. You were a hole and a half behind the foursome in front of you. You left that part out of your review.
