IRONS Only...Stop In the NIGHT BEFORE
Unreal this place. I think I saw a description of "Tight Fairways" in the most recent review. Understatment of the year. Houses are 10 yards away in numerous spots in multiple tee boxes; if its not that its on coming traffic in the street on the other side. No way you'd get me to drive down any of those streets on a busy day here. RIDICULOUS.. Maybe Im just not that good but these fairways were anything but FAIR. Oh an the three holes that had both an uphill/downhill pin placement. Seriously? Flag sticks were horizontal on each of these...so if you are playing the following day, make sure you stop in and talk to whoever is in charge of pin placement, buy him a nice meal, give him tickets to the opera or a Cubs playoff game and hopefully you will get some kind of relief when you come in tomorrow. Good luck...Ill be back in 10 years.
Keeps you honest
Have played this course from the beginning to end of season and course maintenance keeps up very well. Pace of play is generally good but it's a function of day of week, time of day, etc.. Afternoons clear up but as another review mentioned, Wednesday late-afternoons should be avoided. Course presents good array of looks for a 9-hole. Tricky enough to where you'll lose stokes in a hurry if you're not on the fairway. Recovery situations demand above average shot making ability.
Lush green fairways
Beautiful course, tight fairways, high accuracy required to stay on short grass. Greens a little spongy and rough following rainy weather. Overall a great buy and enjoyable outing.
Fun and challenging 9 hole.
Not super long course but you can get in trouble if you don't hit it traight. Greens weren't bad either. :)
Nice Course - Good Value
Nice 9 hole course, above average for a nine hole course.
Beware Wednesday Afternoons
The pace of play on Wednesday late afternoon is very slow. We had a 5:45 PM tee time and we barely made it through 8 holes by the time the sun went down (7:45 PM). Apparently there was a men's league ahead of us and they were very slow. Not sure if it is like this everyday, but beware of Wednesdays.
General Review
This is a great Golf Course to play 9 or even 18 holes, it's always in great shape.
Great for practice
I use this course to play 9 and do extr practice when it's not busy. It presents enough of a challenge for my plus 30 handicap.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Unfortunately the day you golfed, we had our annual greenskeepers revenge tournament. The tough pin placements were by design for this event and are not anything close to how the course is normally set up. We apologize for the inconvenience and for ineffective communication about the course layout that particular day. We hope that you will come back to enjoy the course with a more typical layout.
