Needs a ranger
Understand that this is not a course for PGA or WPGA players but there were people on the course that did not appear to have ever played golf before. Wish they had a ranger or at a minimum, posted "pace of play" signs at the course and on the scorecard. I skipped a hole to get around a foursome that was incredibly slow.

Fun 9 hole layout
Are used to play years ago on Sundays with my dad and a bunch of other relatives and I’ve always had a good time at Rob Roy. Pace was a little slow due to the two some in front of us. Folks didn’t really understand the concept of Rody Golf. Still still a good time.

Greens were well cared for and played consistently. Fairway were also in good condition despite a dry summer . Fu. round

The course was neglected over the summer. Need some work. Hopefully it’ll be back in shape for next spring. But still not a bad deal for the money if you book it online.

Slowest greens ever
If you like fast greens or even average speed greens beware. When you have to bang a downhill putt and it's still short, it is hard to make the adjustment. I've seen fairways cut shorter. Slow greens are not fun.

A great round of Golf at Rob Roy
Rob Roy 9 -hole golf course with 2868 yardage in Mount Prospect Illinois is a very challenging course with its lay-out in a housing complex with ponds & trees. Friends of mine from overseas name it “the burial site of golf balls”.
from overseas lost 8:balls in one round (3 balls fell in the water on hole #5 par 5 (531 yrs from blue tee and 517yds from white tee handicap 1), the management, and staff are FRIENDLY,,COURTEOUS,,HELPFUL
They are very customer friendly

Nice course
It was a very nice course. I’ve played there plenty of times. Man behind the counter was very rude to an autistic boy that worked there. I was very disappointed!
