6:54 Saturday morning tee time. Guy with the club house key had not shown up by 6:45. At the t Bar/ kitchen was not open even for water or Gatorade

Maybe an off day, but had a 6:54 Saturday morning tee time. Perfect weather mid September. Guy with the club house key had not shown up by 6:45. Started was just sending people out, but no carts. Kitchen area not open even for drinks. At the turn, the Bar/ kitchen was still not open. Half way house also closed. Cart girl finally came by when we were on 18.

like the course but dislike rude golfers

slow play.... I quit after hole 11... the foursome in front had two open holes in front of them but continued to play extremely slow, some players are rude and not good sports man like but not the courses fault!

Very comfortable

Enjoyed greatly, stayed for a second 18, 36 holes in one day. It is an excellent community course. Nice practice tee. GN price includes cart but you can walk if you like for a reduced fee. GN should offer that.

Not quite up to par

I've played here at Deerfield for years. One of the most wonderful features has always been what outstanding shape the course is in. This time, sadly, the course conditions were not quite up to par.

It is evident that the course is doing some work on cart paths. Additionally, there were trees down from a recent storm. Those are not what I am speaking to. The fairways were in poor condition. large areas without grass on many of the holes. I found this to be shocking. I have p[ayed several other courses along the north shore and have not seen this anywhere else.
