Well taken care off, fast greens
I've played this course a number of times and always have fun with it. There is plenty of variation in hole design with some pretty reasonable challenges based on which tee box you go off from.
Worth the drive
Great natural layout for a challenging course. The golf pro (Michael) is very attentive to the course and it is already in great shape! Each hole is challenging and has its own unique character. I always enjoy playing this course.

Challenging course
Played this course mid November and was surprised how the greens were rolling. They were rolling true and about 10-11 stimp. As far as course layout, it's challenging from the tips for advanced players and friendly from the advanced tees. There's a practice area and a grass driving range. It's a great value for the type of course it offers.

extremely challenging
I have played at Midlane for a long time. This year probably 6 times. Very difficult but fair. The greens are fairly easy to read but the rest of the course will challenge the best golfers. Extremely inexpensive through Golfnow.com

course under repair
five of eighteen greens were under repair and they made a hole with a flag on a fairway with no mowing or circle on them. Golfnow didnt say anything about this when we booked and neither the course when we checked in.

Great Course, Great Customer Service
My wife and I went to play on Saturday. It had rained all day and we decided to go anyway. We got there about 4:45 and went to check in. We thought that we had a 5:00 Tee Time paid for (I booked the wrong date) However Derek at the pro shop was extremely helpful and worked with me. With there being no sun we only got 12 holes in. The course was in great shape (even with all the rain) and the greens were also in great shape. My wife and I will be back for the original tee time I booked. I am excited to play this course and was very happy with the customer service as well!

Good course except for other golfers
This was a good course and I found it quite challenging. I'm not sure I would return because the people who golf there aren't very considerate. Pace of play was really bad (4 hrs 45 minutes), there was a 4 some 2 holes behind us with a boombox, and every green had un-repaired divot marks .

Midlane-good course below average staff experience
This was a nice course and was very challenging, lots of water. The pace of play was excellent, played as a single. The one negative I had was I had no beverage cart until one drove by when I was on 17, but she looked like she was having a bad day and completely ignored me like I never existed. She never stopped and asked if I was interested in something to drink. Overall, it was a very nice course, got a great deal on it, but lacked service. I would recommend the course, and would certainly play it again.

Love this course!
Tough!...some say challenging, I'm sticking with TOUGH! Water on 15 of 18 holes. Great layout. Great condition. Friendly attentive staff. Country Club feel. Overall outstanding value.

One of the slowest rounds I've ever played
Nice facility, good course, friendly people, but the pace of play was ridiculously slow. No ranger to keep the group that was holding everything up moving. We all suffered behind them for the entire round. Not sure I would go back again due to this experience.

This is a shot makers course
I always enjoy Midlane and I try and play here a few times each season. The greens are true with good speed and in wonderful condition. The course makes you think the whole way around you need to use GPS and know how far you hit each club to score on this course. Just play from the correct set of tees . I move up a set of tees here. You will use less than diver on some Par 4's to score will.

Bring some extra balls. Great course, well kept. Will be a good challenge. Open fair ways but plenty of water. Loved it.

Great value for the dollar
Course was in great shape, greens were quick! Pace was great got 18 in twilight in 3.5 hours.

Very Nice Course in nice setting
I would have to say that Not playing Midlane for a few years, and now having played it. I would say wow. The course has nice features like the course is in great shape, very green, and the greens are in very good shape, and roll awesome. And the layout is fun to enjoy. And the staff is very friendly. But the flaws that I saw was that the rough around the course when we played was over 5 inches deep, and if you were in the rough which my partner and I were a lot, you would have to drive around and almost be on top of the ball to find it, and the goose droppings on the tee boxes were discusting. They were on all the tee boxes. But I would recommend this course as a challenge. we played the whites on the front, and the gold on the back to make it more interesting. Holed out on with a 42-40=80. I pared that 460 yard par 4 12th hole from the gold tees, was the high light of my round. But the greens are in such good shape here.
