About
Arrowhead Golf Club is home to a 27-hole course that is considered one of the best municipal plays in the Chicago area. The holes are divided into the South, East, and West nines, which can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. Water hazards appear on 17 of the 27 holes and there are 77 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Each golf course provides a challenging but different round. Although the club opened in 1927, the South/East Course was renovated in 2011. The course retained its challenging character but it was made more playable for a range of skill levels. In addition to the water and bunkers, there are mature trees throughout the course. Arrowhead G.C. also boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a lighted driving range, putting green, chipping green, and bunkers.

Arrowhead always delivers
Arrowhead never disappoints is always consistently good annd pace of play for 9 was perfect. Our Ranger was on the group a couple groups in front of us to keep pace of play annd stopped to apologize but we weren’t waiting at any hole on a very busy Sunday with beautiful weather. I’m a 15 handicap and absolutely love this course. It’s close to my house a great value for what it offers and the clubhouse is beautiful. Greens were smooth and quick as usual. Def recommend to any handicapper!

First time being here since high school in 2001! Man was the course in great shape. What a difference over 20+ years! Cannot wait to get back there!

Great course!
First time playing Arrowhead (South/East) and was a great experience. Pro shop staff and starter were very friendly. Both 9's had challenging layouts and nice views. Greens were very quick but fair. The food truck lets you grab something quickly at the turn and keep going. Very nice overall!

Arrowhead Golf Course
Pace of play was slow, until group let us play through on the sixth hole. Fairways very tight, some of the greens in not very good condition. Players need to replace divots and fix ball marks on greens. The greens are very difficult:, fast, elevated and some difficult pinn placements. Get above hole on greens and no way to stop the ball. Course is very challenging and abit unfair to me, but they get a lot of play.
