About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton offers 27 holes of championship golf. The entire course features water on 17 holes and 77 strategically placed bunkers. The course is divided into three nine-hole courses that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The club opened in 1927 but two of the golf courses, South and East, were renovated in 2011, followed by the West nine a year after. The golf courses are all equally challenging but they each have a unique character. The West/East Course starts with the shortest nine but it also has one of the most intimidating water holes, the par-3 seventh, which has a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water. With such a challenging variety of courses, it is not hard to imagine why Arrowhead G.C. is considered one of the best municipal golf courses in the Chicago area.

Excellent course
It is always great to play Arrowhead.
Great layout.

Great day even with the rain
Got soaked. But still had a great round.
Awesome golfnow hot deal. This track is usually in good shape and it didn't dissapoint.
Well maintained
Course was in great condition. Restaurant/Bar is very nice with friendly staff. Would have rated this a five but staff in pro shop was a little unfriendly.
Great Course. Slow rounds
Amazing course but there was 2 senior outings and it was very slow. the starter was great. He got us out early because he recognized we would be fast players.
Very difficult fun course. Not for novice players..
Will go back but at 6:30 in the morning..
It felt like a 5 hour round was the norm.
Superior clubhouse/variety of food options. Plenty of cold water on the course. Great layout, neither too tough nor too easy.
We teed off right on time. Although the clubhouse and dining rooms are impressive, the staff were very cordial when we checked in, no putting on the airs,. On the course, the starter, rangers, beverage cart servers, made sure that each golfer had an enjoyable round, without hovering. Nicely done by all.

Hot deal on a hot day
Can't hardly beat the hot deal for this course. Course was fairly wet but still less so than I was expecting given the amount of rain the area received the night before. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Good elevation changes. Green speeds were all over the map.

Hadn't played here in a few years. It was good to be back. Course conditions were good, and the staff was friendly. Need to get it in the rota more often!
I enjoyed the course
great price and great course. The golf shop had no idea that I pre-paid for the round, so I spent about 5 minutes on the phone with golfnow to get it taken care of.
Fantastic Greens
Good traditional layout, no housing developments lining the fairways which is great. What really stands out is the fantastic greens, smooth, hard, fast, and true. Great course for the price.
Pristine Course
I played South and East and the course was beautiful and in perfect condition. The views are breath taking as you are truly out in nature. The Pace of play was exactly how it should be and the staff could not have be friendlier. My Top Course this year so far!
Arrowhrad
Hometown course - some staff are friendly - some aren't -- I've had mixed experience with them. The pro shop is outstanding - food and bar is great - prices aren't cheap for golf
One of the best in Chicagoland
I played with my customer (his first time). The course is in great condition with attention to details. It's a fun layout and we enjoyed the "Hybrid" tees option. The clubhouse is beautiful, service is great, the food is tasty and the beer is cold. Always a good day at Arrowhead!
Nice course
The course was well laid out. There was no delays whatsoever. The staff and starter were all very nice. The overall experience was good. We will definitely play at Arrowhead again.
Arrowhead is an excellent local course
I've played this course a few times and all 3 nines. The only negative is several opposite fairways are right next to yours and balls have come close to me. The layout is challenging and needs good course management. Nice clubhouse. I'll go back again no problem.
One of my favortie courses in the area
I play this course between 5-10 times a year. It is one of my favorite courses in the area. Always in good shape. Challenging but room for error on some holes. Nice bar with very nice patio to have a couple drinks and food after your round. Good view of the course from the patio.
