Chevy Chase Country Club

I really liked this course, great layout, great greens and carts have GPS. Some good doglegs and elevation changes. Not a long course for big hitters but plenty of opportunities to hit driver. My only complaint is that here is no range.

Great course and service. Fast pace overall one of my favorites. Well kept course someone knows what golfers want and like !!!!!!

I have been playing this course for the past 20 years. The renovations that were completed in 2003 created one of the finest public golf courses in the area. The course is well maintained with greens that run true. Course length and layout require you to shape shots and use the majority of the clubs in your bag. The carts are equipped with GPS and scoring which are exceptional. Pace of play is reasonable at 5 hours per round. Great overall value for the quality of the course. I would certainly recommend Traditions at Chevy Chase for a great day of golfing fun.

The staff are very friendly, and the food in the clubhouse is terrific.

As an aside I have attended numerous banquets there as well. The facilities are superb along with the food served.

Chevy Chase provides a nice round of golf at a reasonable price on a well-maintained course. Unfortunately, aeration was in progress for some fairways and had been recently completed on greens, accounting for reduced cost. However, despite this, all leaves were being kept off the fairways and those not being aerated were in excellant condition. The re-do of this course to prevent flooding was largely successful and I would recommend giving it a try.

Four of the holes were changed to par threes because the course is under construction GolfNow should have let me know when I booked . They blame the course the course blames them the course.is pretty beat up the course has tire marks all over all the fairways from construction trucks driving on it . Not what I expected

Pretty sure GolfNow charged me for this round. We did not play because my playing partner is 78 years old and because the weather was so bad the course told us that several holes had been modified to par 3's because of rain. Also because it was cart path only which is too hard for a 78 year old man especially on that course. There was standing water in the fairways and in the bunkers because it rained all Friday night and most of Saturday morning. Rain continued on and off throughout the day. Conditions for an enjoyable and fair golf round were non existent. Yet because someone made a decision not to close the course GolfNow and Chevy Chase get to keep my money. Pretty despicable. I even tried to call to explain our situation and cancel. No help there. Just sent me to a nameless, faceless website that could care less. Thinking very seriously about no longer using GolfNow

every person I spoke to as I was registering at the pro shop, getting my cart, and the starter were very off putting, and unfriendly. the start times are too close. I was teamed with 3 other people to make a foursome and we were waiting 10 min on each T for the next group to move up. the same was true for the group ahead of us. I paid for 18 holes but after taking just over 3hrs to play 9 I had enough and left. when I returned the cart I complained about the pace and was told that I should try another course next time, I'm never going back. there are plenty of quality courses around that respect their customers and proper pace of play.

When Chevy Chase was remolded the drainage system was replaced but still standing water. Cart path only for $47 too much $. Over priced all the time

Average course but starter let late 4 some in ahead and play was very slow..
