Decent For A Knock-around Course
The course is good if you want to get a quick round in after work. Upkeep on the fairways and greens is ok. Not the best, but not the worst. Decent price as well. Very short holes. Didn't use my driver once. Good beginners course. One downfall was they had some new "soccer golf" thing set up. Don't know what that is about, but there were flagsticks all over the place for it. Kind of threw us off on a couple holes.
Great Place to Practice
I used a $30 Hot Deal to book a time for me and my beginner spouse. It was essentially the same cost as going to a range to hit balls. Its a nice executive course, long enough that I used all 14 clubs but short enough that she could get to the green in a reasonable amount of strokes on most holes too.
It was an inexpensive practice round.
Waste of Time
Course is a joke. Power line tower basically in fair way.
Footgolf was being played. Not worth the time or money.
Fast, easy, inexpensive
First time at Salt Creek. Very friendly and helpful staff. First time out this year and good course to brush up on short game. Ball friendly as far as loosing any. Will return
great for beginners
Very short, easy course. Would not recommend to avid golfers unless on a budget, however this is a fantastic course for people who are learning the game
Nice place for a quick round
Overall the course is a great value for the money. It's a great place to take a beginner. It's very short. And I don't remember any true par 5's but the greens though dry rolled true. The staff is outstanding and super friendly
Nice executive course, good value
Good course for those that want to play nine holes that are not too long or difficult. It is especially good for beginners of all ages.
Salt creek
Course was in decent condition considering the brutal winter we had. Course was surprisingly dead for it being a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Good with the hot deal
The course fairways are not very good
But it has some fun holes
With a Golf Now Coupon or a Groupon it's not bad
The Tees were ROUGH ! And I use that word loosely ! I do not think there was a single place to stand on any of the Tees that was without a divot ! But, with a Coupon for 18 and a Cart for $20 ? I can rough it !
Good course. A bit expensive. 2 9-holes.
Good fun course. If you're looking to drive play the blue course. White course is short and all of the tee boxes feature the same distance for 6 holes (150-160 yds). A few of the markers for the tees were off between 10-20 yds.
We played for a good rate but then got charged a lot for a replay rate at the course for another 9-hole experience, not 18. They do not discount that you already paid for the cart, and charge you again for a replay.
Friendly staff that are very well informed. Course is beautiful but needed to be watered. Greens were medium speed.
Overall good course if you get a deal on golfnow.com
The ambiance of the course is what draws me to it!
My son and I came out to enjoy a round of golf on my Birthday! this is exactly what we got! We are not the best golfers by far; still we made some awesome shots and enjoyed each others company without being rushed or having to be paired with 2 others! we got to be with just us and the day was an awesome Birthday present to me, not to mention, my son almost scored a Hole-In-One on the final hole! I would always like to play for less and if you can handle that than we might play here more often. Thanx again for a most memorable Birthday.
Par 3-4 holes only course
Course was OK, but there were only par 3 and par 4 holes. There was no par 5 holes so, summing up, only 62 par course for the whole 18 holes. This is good for the practice but not ideal for the regular game seekers. The staffs were super friendly, but for most of the holes, it was kinda difficult to find the tee box. They need to put more direction signs for the tee boxes.
Good price, slow course
The course is pretty nice, and has some challenging approaches to the green. However, it took about 5 hours for our 3-some to play 18 - solely because we were waiting on people in front of us who were waiting on people in front of them, etc. They had a couple starters, but they really did a poor job of getting everyone separated. For the price we paid though, it was a good deal for 18 holes. I'd go back, but I'd have to account for a full day on the course.
The course is short and narrow
The course is short and narrow with high wires in the way for the first two holes. It's a family and beginner friendly course. Go there if you are playing with people who is not a semi-serious player. The atmosphere is relaxed and layback. It's our first time there and we felt the golf cart is an overkill cause the course distance is not long . It comprised of par 3 and par 4 only. A walking 9-holes will do the trick.
Play moved quickly. Beverage cart person was attentive. Course condition was good.
This is a great executive course. The staff is friendly and course well maintained.
excellent golf experience
great course, excellent conditions, worth the money. only $12 for 18 holes with cart!!! will return for sure.
Cheap and Fun
Think they might of changed their prices after we got 18 and a cart for like 13.00 a person, but for that price it was Great.
this course is a great for a short game like a par 3game
it was a great golf course if you want to play a short game on a saturday. But expect a lot of people playing
