Horrible Customer Service
First off, the course. Greens are in excellent shape. Zoysia tees and fairways are a little spotty, but in real good shape otherwise. Really enjoy this golf course.
Now, the negatives. The guy in the pro shop really had it in for us for some reason. We have a foursome that plays a couple of times a week. We play Belk regularly (probably 6 times this year alone). I always book on Golf Now (Tee Off) and prepay. Every time we have been told that the first person to arrive can check in and get the carts, and we can tee off when everybody arrives. This week, for some reason, as we were teeing off, the marshal met us on the first tee and informed us, rudely, that all 4 of us needed to check in. We were standing about 20 yards from the clubhouse, in full view of the pro shop. Fine. We went in and the pro shop guy was on a phone call, took his time, hung up, and just stood there. No greeting, no smile. Whatever, he is having a bad day. So we checked in.
As we approached the first tee, the marshal informed us, rudely, that it was cart path only and we needed to get our cart off the grass. The grass, 40 yards from the tee box, not even on the course, which had one tire of one cart on it. Okay.
Meanwhile, a twosome had the tee time after ours. We let them play through and even kept up with them the first two holes. One more guy in our regular group showed up unexpectedly (late) and caught up with us on the 2nd green. The marshal showed up 2 minutes later and informed us, rudely, that fivesomes were not allowed. We explained that it was raining, nobody had teed off behind us, we were keeping pace with the group ahead, and if somebody did come up behind us we would gladly let them play through. Not good enough, we had to split up. So the single went ahead and our foursome continued. The marshal checked on us every 15 minutes and the jerk in the clubhouse continued to watch from the clubhouse (the front nine is visible from the pro shop). The marshal explained that he was just following orders and had no discretion. So I told him that as long as he was a messenger boy he could tell the guy in the pro shop that there are plenty of other courses around and his attitude cost him 4 regular customers.
It's a shame that one bad employee with an attitude can completely overshadow a very good golf course and otherwise enjoyable round.
It’s in fabulous shape
We’ve played there a few times… today great bargain on golf pass.. but lightning forced us to quit after 11, they graciously gave us a 9 hole rain check . It’s a super course fir a municipal ciurse

Wednesday golf
Course was in great shape. Greens were pretty fast. Had a great time.
Great Value
Course is in good shape. Greens are running moderate speed, lots of ball marks (please fix your ball mark and 2 others!), zoysia still has not completely come in.
Staff is excellent, pace of play very good, great value for the price.
Great place to play
Always a challenge here. Tight fairways and firm greens.

Course greens and tees in excellent shape the price was right and staff couldn't have been nicer. Worth the 45 minute drive each way.
Belk Park
The course was in great shape. Mickie and his staff do a great job!! We will definitely be back.
Belk Park GC is one of my favorites!
Belk Park is a very fun and challenging course! On the front nine, the 2nd, 3rd and 5th holes are challenging if you do not play some good shots! The back 9 is a good mixture of holes! The course is in very good condition! The greens are rolling great! Book a tee time at Belk Park GC and you will not be disappointed!!

Course in ghood condition except for the greens lots of divots I wish people would repair there divots I always do
