Walkers on the 4th of July Weekend
Why would the starter and golf shop let walkers out on the Friday of a Holiday Weekend? That decision slowed down the whole course. Also, there were 2 rangers driving around, but not doing anything about the slow down, why have them out there?

Challenging Course
Well laid out course
Designed as a Country Club then taken over by the Village
Not the best. Not the worst.
A few interesting holes. Could be a quality track with better funding. Pace of play was untenable for a Tuesday late morning/early afternoon round. Poor spacing of tee times. Got rolled up on by a single on the first hole (par 5) while we were putting. We played as a twosome and also reached in two…
Overall, not the worst public course in the area. Would put it in a Tier 3 behind maybe a Dubsdread/Mistwood in Tier 1 with Harborside/The Preserve in Tier 2.

Good public course!
We played in the rain so the ground was pretty soaked, but I loved the course. Nice and long for women.

Very Sporty Local Course
First time playing Water's Edge, as it did not disappoint. Pro-shop people were very friendly and helpful, as it was a kind gesture to be given a free small bucket of range balls. Course layout can be played in a variety of ways, and can be challenging with tight fairways and quick greens with a lot of undulations. You can't hit your ball from the fairways or putting the greens erratically without paying a price. Played the White tees to learn the course, but looking forward to coming back and will move back to the Blue's to add more challenge. All players, please repair your ball marks (and several others) to keep greens nice for others.

A nice day at Water's Edge in Worth IL
Another pleasant day at Water's Edge today with a helpful staff and a nice layout. The course was nicely cleaned up after serious thunderstorms came through the night before. Really enjoyed our day.

Waters Edge
Course is in great shape. Pace of play was really good. Hit out of one trap and it had sand in it. Rough was cut but thick. Could find balls off the fairway. Enjoyed the round. Greens were true with undulations.

Waters Edge Review
There needs to be a ranger or the starter needs to lose their job. Continuously having 4 groups on one hole is not how a Golf course is supposed to be managed.
Decent track. Narrow fairways and challenging greens. Placing the cups on the middle of a slope (numerous holes) is interesting for the Memorial Day Weekend golfer taking too much time on the greens...
