Good God for a great price,

The reservation was premade online, the staff in the clubhouse was very welcoming and assuring our group of amenities and necessities available.

AfternoonPrice was perfect and ended at a perfect time also, the back 9 / 4 out of the nine holes were roped off and slowed down things a little bit.

For the special price it is well worth playing 18 and riding,

Management should tell people before play. 4 1/2 hours on a Tuesday. Very nice layout, some spotty fairways. Well worth 34 bucks on GN

Most courses are a little worn this time of year, however Waters Edge was beat up. There was a grass restoration project going on in the fairways that made it difficult to hit from. Patches of dead grass and holes everywhere. The greens were worn down as well. A little disappointing for me as I have heard from several people it’s a nice course. The conditions we played in would say otherwise. I will give it another shot next year in hopes the fairways and greens can recover

A+ it’s a nice course and inexpensive so expect a slower pace of play, but overall, a great course!

Course is in horrible shape. It’s a crime to charge what they do for the condition it’s in. Such a shame because it’s a great layout. I used to love this course but I won’t play it again until they get it in much better shape.

This is more of a message to the course operators to allow single players, I often play on short notice and just get paired up, but this course refuses.

When I get to finally play..... after they allow more leniency, I’ll remove This and write actual review

This course could be a real gem. it has a good layout but the fairways and some greens are really beat up. Pace of play was fair, and not enforced. nice people. Overpriced for current condition.

This was a really good course for the conditions. A lot of rain the past couple days, so the course was very wet. But the course itself was in good shape for the condition. I can’t fault a course for nature. Great layout and super tough greens. Definitely will play again.

Terrible conditions. Fairways were in awful shape and poor drainage system. Rained the day prior but should have been dry by the time we played and everything was soaked.

I used to love this track, as it has one of the better layouts in the Chicago south suburbs, and was priced fairly. However, the round today had conditions as poor as any I can remember playing golf in the last 5 years. I’m not a stickler for perfect conditions on a muni, but every fairway was spotty with big bald patches, massive cart tire tracks leading to us taking several unplayable lies. Greens were bumpy with several holes missing huge chunks of greens from..unrepaired ball marks? Tee boxes were littered with whole tees and divots.

I’m not sure if there’s a story behind the scenes here, but it seems as though they’ve given up on course maintenance. Until it’s revitalized, I won’t be returning.

I have played Water's Edge 8-9 times before, never have I seen more brown grass and crappy tee boxes. However I didn't let that bother me, my wife and I had a nice time.
