One of the public GC’s around
Excellent Links course , wide fairways with challenging greens . Quite a few blind shots , good sand in bunkers . Excellent course condition. Only negative is No big sign out front so you can easily pass by the place .

Nice course, but pro shop and clubhouse is very limited
Great course, but the pro shop is very small as well as the bar/eating area. Probably would play here more (and buy more) often if the amenities were more inline with the course.

Solid course
Good course and was in good condition. I think we got a little lucky with when we got out but the pace of play was fantastic on a Sunday.

Great layout, well maintained
Course is much more challenging than the modest slope ratings suggest. This course remains a terrific value and wonderful golf outing for players of intermediate and advanced skills. Greens are true and tough to read each hole presents different risk/reward situations.
The course can become busy and could use on course Marshall to move along slower groups.

Excellent course in great shape. Very open, as it’s a links style, but very tough. Blind shots, narrow fast greens and the wind definitely plays a factor. I only wish they had a driving range. It would be nice to be able to warm up with a small bucket before the round. Definitely going back

Course was in great shape
I have been playing this course since it opened more than 20 years ago and the course may be in the best condition I have ever played it. Kudos to the groundskeeper. I was greeted kindly by the starter upon arrival and Wayne in the Club House has always been welcoming. Enjoyed the people with whom I was paired and we played in less than 4 hours.

Fun links course worth the drive
I always enjoy playing this course it in great shape with plenty of difficulty. Some tough tee shots and fast undulated greens. A true links course . The cost is may only barrier to playing here more. 50 dollars with a cart is a little higher for a week day afternoon.

Great condition & layout
Only gave 4 stars to amenities bc most of amenities were shut down due to CoVID19

Course is in great shape
The golf course is in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. The greens were awesome, even with the wet spring, course is firm. $39 to ride for 18, it’s the best deal in Chicagoland for a great course.:

Tough greens
Good links courses with some wooded holes. Greens are tough! It protects the course even when holes are shorter!
