Royal Hylands Golf Club

I play with a group of retirees, 20 to 40 players weekly where we play different Indiana courses with a shotgun start. Each time we play this course we collectively are amazed at the quality of the condition of the course, the carts and the friendliness of the staff. The bent grass tees and fairways are plush, greens run true and hold shots into them. Sand traps are full and raked. Electric carts with auto brakes are best you can find anywhere. Yesterday we brought 37 golfers and to a man each heaped praise on the quality of this course and we don't say that lightly. We are a very intense group of better than average players who appreciate course management and quality and this course consistently is among the best. Course is also very picturesque and offers a good challenge in the skill of play. Very reasonably priced for overall quality.

Hylands has the friendliest staff you'll find at any course anywhere. But they also take great pride in having a wonderful, fun course. Parkland style with some really tough holes at the outset, and some really tough greens on the back. As golf continues to get more and more expensive this course is an incredible value. I recommend to anyone in Indiana, and if you are traveling on I-70 between Indianapolis and Dayton.

Honestly the best overall golf course experience we have had in Indiana. Staff friendly from Pro, snack bar and cart return. Excellent rates for junior golfers. Big supporters of junior golfers which you don't often get at a course. Course is one of the nicest we have played in the state. Fairway and greens in great shape. Excellent design every hole has a different feel and green complexes are spectacular. Been wanting to play this course for while and glad we did. We will definitely be back.

This course was in excellent shape especially for the amount of recent rain we have had. Lots of blind shots and tight holes. Greens are in great shape as well as the fairways. The only thing that I can knock about this course is that the putting green was no where close to the same speed (way slower) as the greens on the course. Will definitely be back in the future!

I played hylands earlier in the year, and it was in pretty poor shape with all the water damage. We played it again yesterday, and Tom and the staff have worked their butts off to get her back into shape. Royal Hylands is a fun layout and the greens seems to be trickier every time I play them. Lots of subtle break in the especially when above the hole. The sand was really fluffy and the rough was well maintained. Minimal water damage to report. We played the gold tees yesterday, and i have to admit it is a much tighter course from up there especially on the front.

The construction on 70 would be the only thing detouring me from playing here. Hopefully that finishes up soon, so I can make the trip again!

Beautiful well maintained golf course. Even though it was cart path only(heavy rains the previous few days). Anxious to play it again when it dries out

Course condition was good. Bunkers were washed out due to heavy rsin.

This course allowed me to play golf the way it was meant to be. Nice fairways, nice staff, no rushing because of tee times. Usually I play on fairways that are hard and regular grass. These fairways were like butter. Big and fun greens. This is what golf is about. Also thank you to GolfNow for getting me the great deal!

A very nice course! It’s a well kept and it shows it! Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. It’s a challenging course that keeps you on your toes. I’ve played there several times and I always look forward to going back.

First time playing here and won’t be the last! Great course for the value! Little bit of a drive from where I live but worth the drive to play!

Minor fairway issues on a couple of fairways due to excess recent rain. Everything else was excellent as usual. Great course.

Royal Hylands is always a great course. Unfortunately, we got rained out after 5 holes. GolfNow.com, however, refunded me for the holes we couldn't play. I couldn't be happier with their cooperation.

Always enjoy this course. Good value. Course in good shape. Perfect weather. Staff is great.
