Like Aberdeen because there is a "relaxed" feel there. Greens are in great shape. Doesn't seem to get the big traffic that Chicago-area courses experience. Newer carts and good clubhouse w/cooked food. Well worth the commute.

Considering the Spring of 2021 has been relatively dry the course is in excellent condition. From the tee boxes to the green it's obvious the course is well maintained. I would highly recommend a round at Aberdeen.

I always enjoy Aberdeen. A nice course with some challenges. It is early in the season, but the traps and greens are not in the greatest shape. I am sur, however, that the aforementioned will be remedied as we head into golf season.

Pace of play was excellent. Since it was our first time here we may have been the ones playing a bit slow.

Course conditions were not ideal, but it was Spring. Tee boxes were closed to let the grass grow in, the greens were recently punched, the bunkers needed a raking, and the course seemed like it needed a big drink of water. Wasn't impressed this day, but saw enough potential that I'll try again in the summer.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Given conditions, the $42 Sunday green fee seemed about $10 too high. If tees/greens/fairways/bunkers are maintained during the summer, $~50 wouldn't be unreasonable.

I prefer walking and this course is not made for that. Take a cart. The walks between holes on the back 9 are long. Also, the 9th hole may be the worst designed hole I've ever played. Into the wind it's an assured drop. The par 3s and par 4s are fun.
