Covered Bridge Golf Club

Stumbled along this course through a hot deal on Golf Now.

A pleasant surprise. It’s affiliated with Fuzzy Zoeller and another course in the area. Visiting from out of town, I settled on this place because of the deal and they didn’t have a strict dress code policy compared to other clubs in Louisville. Not only that but I was able to rent clubs ( little steep at $55) BUT mint condition Taylormade Qi-10s! Everyone in the clubhouse was cool and one of the staff brought me down in the cart and showed me amenities before teeing off.

Granted, it’s almost winter the course was in great shape, Layout is fun; water features on the par 3s and 5s and many approaches you had to hit the number to get birdie looks. I played one Teebox up but playing from the tips would be a unique challenge for skilled golfers. Greens were nice, despite being close to winter and aerated a few weeks ago.

Beautiful clubhouse overlooking the shared 9th and 18th greens. It was a Monday so unfortunately, the kitchen wasn’t open, but they did have snacks available, and the bar was open.

Sat down and chatted with the staff and a few locals. Not expensive and had some fun Indiana craft beer can options.

Will definitely come back. Also would love to check out Zoeller’s other course up north

First time playing here on and overcast/rainy Wednesday afternoon. The course and staff were super nice as well as the food and amenities. I can’t wait to play here again and thought it was a good price for the experience. Best way to spend a day off of work (: got a birdie woo!

Son and I played Covered Bridge 10-23-24 at 12:30. Brought us a cart to the car on arrival and everyone was friendly throughout the day. Course layout is great. Range and putting green are beside #1 tee. Would have been a 5 star day but greens had been conditioned a few weeks before but still putted smoothly for the most part. We moved right along. A few leaves slowed finding balls since we don’t hit them all straight. Overall a great day and we will be back.

Greens were freshly punched, but that’s to be expected in the fall. Rest of the course was in great shape. Green side bunkers were a little wet because they’re watering greens. Again, to be expected. I’d go back tomorrow.

Only got to play 4 holes, had a thunder storm dump over an inch of rain in 30 minutes. We were given a rain check and look forward to play all 18 holes.

Very nice course and layout just has gone a little downhill with the greens. Some bad patches in them that they look like they are trying to fix.

Really fun course. In pretty good shape. Wasn’t too busy when we played so we got through quickly. GPS on the carts is always nice. Got a good price on Golfnow and will definitely play here again

Course in great shape. Fairways were immaculate. Rouge was too thick abd we lost a lot of balls that should have been found. Greens were slow but beautiful and couldn’t find right pace. Starter was awesome, very kind and welcoming. Cart service was good but had to ask for everything - ice, etc. no on course service and it was HOT. Snack bar was slow and not very talkative. Food was excellent. Golf itself, excellent. Customer service could use improvement

We try to play covered bridge as much as possible. It's a great track and you can usually get some range balls to hit before you play included with the greens fees. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Very well maintained and great playing surfaces. Challenging but sometimes forgiving course. We can't wait to play again!

Course was a touch backed up. Was PGA champ weekend so will give a pass on that. Course was awesome. Great condition. Highly recommend.

Course is in awesome shape from tee to green. Great pace of play too.
