Valley of the Moon was nice but a little smokie, great staff, good price, pace of play perfect.

Generally the course was in good shape, rough needed to be mowed as it was hard to find a ball in the rough unless you were right over it. Traps not ready for play yet as they have had no maintenance for months. New company running the courses are working hard to make things right.

Course is in horrible condition, especially at the price to play. Its such a shame considering how this course used to be such a gem of the VOM. I can only hope that the golf course makes a rebound and returns to its former glory. I will not be returning until conditions get better.. Fingers crossed.

I’ve been playing for a couple of years now. The course was sold and under a new management group. It’s really dry and lots of crab grass :( it’s fine if it cost 30-40 bucks but I paid $70 on a Sunday morning :( I’d say wait and let the new group spruce it up a bit

Beautiful course but be careful about hitting your ball in someone's yard or worse. I have never played a course with so many homes so close along the fairways.

I was skeptical after seeing poor reviews on Golf Advisor, but this is a decent course. The greens were in good condition on all but three holes. It needs a little TLC, but pace of play is quick, we finished in 3 hrs 20 min. I will definitely be returning.

First time playing this course and we got a really good deal on golfnow. The round started out great , no one in front of us for 5 holes and then we ran into a foursome that had 2 beginners with them and they did not keep up pace of play. No ready golf at all. We waited on every tee after that for at least 10 minutes. No Marshall to be see no any where. We would of had a 3 hour round otherwise. Decent shape, in the bunkers twice and they were just packed hard. Overall a nice round with beautiful weather!

What used to be Oakmont has gone through a pre-pandemic shutdown, a pandemic shutdown and an abrupt change of course management companies. This is the first time I have played this course in 2020. Overall conditions are pretty good. Some bumpy greens, but fairways are in good shape. What's not in good shape is the bunkers. Lots of stuff growing in them. The gentleman who I played with agreed that we would treat them as Ground Under Repair. And for some reason all the flags were white (not red, white and blue). Not all the greens are completely visible, so you have to guess on your approach shot as to where the pin is actually located. But they are trying.....I will give them another peek in a few months.
