Just a really nice course in the little town of Cheney.
Good time
This was an interesting course. Plenty of water comes into play. There was not much room as the holes all seemed to run side by side and not many trees. I don't remember a single bunker. The greens almost all had different tiers or were on a slight grade. They rolled very fair though. I would recommend this course to anyone in the area looking for a fair round of golf!!
Fun in the Sun
The course has a great. Look and interesting water holes. A fine and fun course.
Nice course, well kept
Cherry Oaks is a very nice 18 hole course in Cheney, KS, just 20 minutes west of Wichita. The course is typically in very nice shape and fun to play. There is some water that can come into play. Not many bunkers. Greens are in very good shape and have some slope to them. They can be challenging, depending on pin placement. If you are looking for a course that looks good and is not overly challenging, Cherry Oaks is a course you should try.
Decent course for a great price when using hot deal.
A nice course a bit out of the way for cheap when using the hot deal. Not usually too busy.
Pretty straight forward with a very open layout. Not much water or hazards to speak of. Can't think of a single sand trap on the entire course. Also, not many trees.
Course makes up for lack of hazards with tough pin placements and tough putting conditions.
Great Day of Golf
Cherry Oaks is a fine golf course. Nice fairways, somewhat challenging greens. We were not rushed. I live 40 miles away or I would golf in Cheney regularly.
Fun Course!
The course plays like two different courses. The front nine is tighter and technical and the back nine is wide open, but can be tricky on windy days.
Kansas experience
This was our first time playing in Kansas. We booked at a great rate ($10.00 each). We had an enjoyable round. The staff and the other golfers were very friendly. Will play there again when we visit Wichita again.
Great course
Very good course. Long hitters will have less trouble if you hit straght. Price is very reasonable.
great course
i was sceptical to play the course but should not of been the golf course was in great condition green were fast and fairways in perfect condition will play again and again really loved it. make the drive out to play will not be disapointed
