Gardner Golf Course

If you're incredibly bored, need a last minute tee time, and want to try to find your ball in the 5 inch high, non-existent fairways, and seas of dandelions -- then this place is for you. Had no clue this place was here so I thought we'd check it out - especially at a cheap tee time. The place needs major upkeep and a makeover. Greens were so riddled with divots the ball wouldn't even roll smoothly and jumped around. Friendly staff but a horrible course. Don't waste your time.

I lost more money on balls i could not find in the fairway, well there really are no fairways, then I spent on the green fees. Spend the extra money on a different course. Dandelion Golf Course should be the name of the course.

I only play this course when everything else is booked on golfnow and I am stuck choosing Gardner as opposed to paying full price at another golf course. This course serves its purpose as a cheap alternative to other courses in the area but don't expect much.

Course gets worse every visit. Only play for the price, but its not worth it anymore. Carts are terrible, greens are gone and if they had true fairways, they would be terrible also. Trouble is, there are no fairways. Any other course would classify it as rough. Way too much clover so you can't find your ball. If you hit into the "rough", your ball is lost. The staff is nice on a weekend morning, but if you go later in the afternoon/evening, the head "pro" can't be bothered to help you. Don't waste your money trying to play here. Notice, I said "trying"! This course is terrible!

The greens are all chewed up. There is no fairway it's just rough that has been cut shorter. It's really to bad this course has a nice layout to it but has not been taken care of at all!!! You are better off hitting golf balls out of your own backyard even off your driveway for that matter!!! It's $10 for a reason....

Course is worst every time I play it. Cheap tee times usually help me to look past shoddy course conditions but I won't be back. Pace of play was rediculous, golf cart was literally falling apart, fairways have more mud than grass, etc; would not recommend until changes are made systemically.

I know it's winter and the grass is dormant but it still could of been better. Greens had really bad rough patches. Fairways were thick and like mowed pasture grass

I payed 10$ for 18 with cart. I would play again but not for anymore than that. So I guess I can't complain to much.

It not a country club but is in the country. Its a laid back kind of course. Staff is really friendly and even better when you get to know them. There's a saying that "you get what you pay for" so the course is a so-so on condition wise but most of it is good condition. It is a moderate difficultly but have some challenging holes

I'd play again because of the price and the quickness of the play. A laid back course that has some beat up greens. But I'd go again.

It was ok. Paths are rough. I like electric carts because they are smoother. Lot of crabgrass.

good for practicing your swings. nothing fancy. You can play 18 holes of golf with ride.for the price of one or two buckets of range balls,.

Gas golf carts..Enough said.
The front 9 is horrendous. someone slapped a teebox and a green on an open field and said HEY GO PLAY! I would play the back 9 twice if I went again. The course is not maintained. The elderly gentlemen working the proshop, with all due respect, wasn't all there, so you have to have a lot of patience when talking to him. If the course was even slightly maintained a little better I would play again. I would highly recommend paying an extra 10$ and going somewhere else. I only paid 12$ but it wasn't worth it.

The course lacks good markers for distance, the cart paths need some work and some of the Tee Box conditions are not the best.

this is a decent muni for the money,it has a couple tough holes acct of the small landing areas.

Always a fun course to play! Open par 5s And challenging par 3s

I played in 2 and a half hours as very few other golfers were on the course. There were a lot of nice holes and only one green which was in bad shape. Overall it was fun and the greens putted very straight. This was a good experience.

I could not tell the fairway from the rough, which made it hard to find your ball. Cart paths were dirt laid more than concrete. Water stations were dirty with yellowish water. Bad experience, but with friendly staff.

I'm not the best golfer so I play here for practice. Staff in the Pro shop is not very friendly. In fact, the guy checking us in gave us a hard time about booking online and it "costing him money and wear and tear on his equipment"???
Watch out for the greens keeper as they want you to stay out of their way when they are mowing (no joke, they will literally mow right next to you).

The course has a good mix of short and long holes. A few holes provide a good challenge.

We enjoyed our round of golf and will definitely return.
