Eagle Trace Golf Course

have played this course a lot in past years and they keep improving it every year,good course for the money.will try and play again this year

Fun golf course if you can hit it straight, not overly long, with an exception of a few holes, but those open up. The back nine is much easier. The course was in good shape, no major complaints, greens rolled smooth, but not "true" they don't break much at all.

The course was in very good condition except that the greens were a bit hard, difficult to get the shots to stop. Course staff wqas very accommodating as we got stuck in a large traffic jam on the Interstate and delayed almost as hour -- they held our tee time and still honored the "Hot Deal" rate. The electric carts, with GPS, were great.

Glad we got a deal. Hadnt played in many years. Was looking foreward to playing & were let down with course conditions. Tee box were all sloped & fairways were in rough shape. Usedto be one of my favorite tracks. Wont be back for a while.

I have been playing Eagle Trace since it opened. It has always been one of my favorite courses. It is in good condition, and is a tough layout. The greens were in very nice shape. The fairways and rough were acceptable. The layout is tough, but fair. I always look forward to going to Morehead and playing Eagle Trace.

Eagle Trace is a challenging yet fun course to play. The course is well maintained and the greens are in good shape. The fairways were just a bit furry and the greens could have stood a little more speed but it had rained all week prior to our round-so I will give them a pass on this. The layout requires some placement and the ability to shape your shots but will not overly tax your game. The par threes are very challenging and require some shot making skills. At 6900 yards from the tips, you will have a pleasant round without beating yourself up. It has earned a place in our road trip rotation and we will definately be back!

Have played this course several times. I have always found it to be a nice challenge, course in great shape and would rate greens as excellent. The pro shop staff always makes us feel welcome and they are very helpful.

This is Morehead State's golf course. There are a lot of trees and few straight holes. That said, it is fair - no nasty surprises. We played a hot deal time, were allowed to tee off 45 minutes early, and we did not wait all day.
It is about an hour from home, and we make the trip 1-2x a year.

Course in excellent shape, greens were in great condition.
Morehead does a great job maintaining this course.

Enjoyable to play first time in 2 years. The course was cleaned up some alot of brush cleared out since last time I played. Shot 74 birdied all 4 par 5's had 6 bogeys par 3's are nice with 2 over water.

Home of the Morehead State Team, this course is kept in Great condition and the staff is Outstanding!! I'm always treated like a "local" when I play and I live 40 minutes away. It is definately worth the trip as the course seems to have a diferent challenge for me each and every time I play. I love this course!!
