Great Value
Didnt know what to expect coming here since its been a few years since the last time I played the course. In much better shape from whatI remember just a little dry. Ive never seen balls bounce through the rough as much as they did here. Greens in great shape, looks like Cherry Blossom purchasing this course was the best thing to ever happen to it.
this course was fun to play
Course was in great shape. But the day we played it was very windy. Going back soon to try it again
This course was fun.
This a good course I will play it again when the weather is better.
Nice course
Well up kept. Greens are fast. 18th hole is adjacent to driving range. Whenever someone hooks a shot right off of the driving range it could end up on the fairway on 18....Other than that it's a pretty good course.
Course has mature trees and fairways
Course is mature and in good shape. Some clover in intermediate rough makes ball hard to find 3' off fairway
Great day
Excellent course course condition would have been 4 star but a couple of greens had some kind off dead spot around and sand could be softer a little to packed but not bad. But over all great day great course.
Good value
Greens were in nice shape. Fairways and tee boxes were in fair condition. Always a fun course to play. All golf course, no homes to worry about except for #11 tee and even those are well protected by a tree liin. Best value in the area.
Great course
Love this course! I play it at least once a week if not a couple. Its a great course. Alot of wide open fairways with a few tricky fairways mixed in. Just a good overall course!
Longview
This is a nice course that is well maintain. I would reconnect this course to anybody wanting a nice round of golf without breaking the bank.
Fairway's and greens in good shape
We enjoyed our round. Some of the tee boxes weren't the best but the fairways and greens were very good shape.
Nice Challenging Course
Played from the tips and it has several challenges. The greens were in excellent shape, but the fairways were dry. In the courses defense it has been quite dry in the area for weeks now. In any case there was enough grass to have a decent lie and have a place to hit the ball from. The one thing that comes to mind that could be fixed is a problem with many courses. Is it to much to ask that they place a small pole or some type of bush/tree at the 200, 150 and 100 yard positions?
Good course
This course had great greens and is very good to play
Very firm greens and fairways
Was told this course was in good shape after the new owners took over. Was told that they had installed a sprinkler system for fairways and greens. If so they are not using it. The course was very firm as greens would not hold shots of any kinds.Greens had not been mowed rolled very slow. Maybe this is just a transition period with new ownership.
Longview Golf Resort
Overall a great course for the money! Fairways might be a little thin in spots, but real nice greens with not too much slope!
Nice course, nice price
Hadn't played this course in about 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was very well kept. Greens were a little slow, but for the most part, very consistent. Course is fairly close to where I live. Will make it one of my go to courses to get in a quick round.
Where to start
Some bunkers have sand others have none. The 5th faiway has little to no grass. Others are very thin. The greens are in good condition. The course is very over priced for the condition it is in. If you play the back tees as we did be prepared for 4 of the toughest par 3s you will ever play anywhere
Great Value
Course and greens were in good shape. Great value for the money!
Rough shape
The rough was very high! Lost several balls just off the fairway. Greens were in great shape. Course would play much better if they would mow the rough. I am a bit disappointed. I was sure the new ownership would upgrade the course. Unfortunately that is not the case.
ROUGH!
The rough was horrible. I keep the pastures on my farm cut tighter! Rough would be great for tournament play but for and average or below player, very frustrating. Knock it down a couple inches so that everyone can enjoy the course. This was my only complaint about the round.
This course has deteriorated with new owners
The course had not been mowed for some time even after a few days of
sunshine and the fairway looked like the rough. The staff was very
unfriendly. They have done a big damage for average golfer by moving a
number of white tees back by 50 yards or more making some holes totally
inaccessible for average golfer. When I mentioned that to the person behind
the desk, his reply was simply for us to play the senior tees. That is not
an option as most holes would be too short from senior tees. Average golfer
does not need par 3s over 200 yards or par fours over 420. I used to play
this course a lot and liked it the way it was.
#2 is the only par 4 on the course that plays 420. 3 of the 5 par 5's play under 500 yards
