Longview Golf Course

the course got bunched up on the back 9 but that happens. Lost a couple of balls on the fairway because the grass was high. i am use to that in the rough but the rain probably caused the grass to be soggy and high in the fairway. Not sure there is much you can do about that.

the greens were a little hard,needs some water on them.

very reasonable for the money wide open fairways overall a good value for the money . GREAT STAFF

this course is always clean , well mowed, good management and attendant always pleasant and curtious. So far i haven't had to deal with a bunch of drunks on the course, thank you Longview management. It's always a pleasure to play this course.

Considering the time of year, and being in the middle of the work day and week. My first time visiting this course was a pleasant surprise! I would definitely recommend and the value is too notch!

We played this course last summer and it was in terrible condition, so we never went back until a couple days ago. Especially for this time of year, it was in great condition, except for the bunkers. The bunkers need a lot of work, which I would expect would be done as the golf season approaches. We will definitely go back.

My Friends and I played for the first time this year. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Fellow holders on the course were in good spirits. One of my friends lost his phone on the course and the staff/holders were very helpful in our search. It was great to be out on a nice day enjoying one of the greatest games on this earth.

Forget any bad reviews you've read about this course....Nice Layout...Wonderful Scenery...and So much fun to play!!
the Fairways were a TAD rough in spots...and a few Greens could use some attention....But nothing that I haven't seen from any other courses around..Do yourself a Favor ...go play this Course and judge for yourself,....It's a true Gem!!

Even at $5.00 plus tax, it wasn't worth the money. There weren't even tee markers.

Okay, it's not a country club style course that a lot of golfers play on but, this is a NICE course and getting better. Averaging in the upper 90's my game (and my budget# isn't good enough to be high dollar courses anyway. But, because I love to play and because I love the price to play here, this place is dynamite!
I've played on several other budget friendly courses #and some not so budget friendly) and this course is as nicely maintained and picturesque as any of them. And a BIG plus is the greens here are great. Most low budget courses have greens that are nearly un putt able, not here. Nice and smooth!
The new owners have already made several improvements and I expect there's more to come.
If you're looking for a place to play that's, low budget, friendly, good, well maintained fairways and smooth greens. Then do yourself a favor and take advantage of these super low tee times, you'll be glad you did.

Could be a good course. Fairways needs grass. Greens good. Still woyld not recommend.

Beautiful scenery.new ownership had course headed in right direction

The greens were in good shape but slow. The fairways were in terrible shape. All of the water was completely covered with alga and the smell was terrible. Too bad because this track has potential to be a fun course to play.

I love playing on this course. I drive 20 mins just to play on it, rather than staying in town to play on one.

Great shape greens have some bad spots on them. Was a tad shaggy and slow for what I'm used to there. Im sure all the rain has a lot to do with it. Great time on a great course

Even thought it needs some TLC I like it. The back nine is long and straight with some tough holes. With it being so dry the roll or kick is quite good.

The layout is nice. Overall it is a shorter course, but still challenging enough for the amateur/weekend golfer. The fairways need a lot of help as do several of the greens. Hole signs were not up identifying the teeing ground for each hole. Nice staff, though...and helpful.

I was surprised at the poor conditions of the fairways given the amount of rain we've had this summer. Bare spots and crab grass in spots

Course was a cow pasture. Very disappointed in course maintenance. Staff needs to keep the grass in check.

Some greens need attention, some fairways are rough.
