Connemara is a nice course with a couple issues.
Positives:
The greens are firm and roll true.
The fairways were well maintained
The rough was thick yet well kept
Negatives;
Super crowded. There was a wait on every single shot. Backed up on every hole you could see.
Tee boxes were shaggy and looked as if they had been sprayed. No mention of that in booking or checking in.
No yardage markers in the fairways. For first time players you need a range finder or an app.
Conclusion:
The course is not difficult if you can keep the ball in the fairway. Not extremely long or tight. The pace of play was pretty terrible and made the experience almost a negative one. We drove from over an hour away and I’m not sure we will make the same trip again. The course is great if you’re local. Not for travelers.
Can’t beat the price
For $20 you can’t beat it. Sometimes the tee boxes need work but I never have any complaints playing here. Greens/ fairways are usually in great condition. There are several blind shots off the tee but miss left or right and usually you’ll still be fine. Not many trees or bunkers to worry about and one water shot. Fairly easy, very fun.
Good course
Nice early round, played quickly.
Some areas had tall grass, but mowers were working. Tee boxes occasionally had to high of grass which should have been a priority.
Other than that good course

Consistently on par
Connemara consistently provides one of the greatest values in the Lexington area. The course is always in great shape, the staff is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are always fair. Today, made the turn in great time as usual and hit up the food service. I typically just get a couple of drinks and I’m on my way. However, today I wanted a sandwich and I ordered the chicken salad. The guy working was alone and goes in the back and after a few minutes, he comes out with this sandwich that looked like it could be served at some upscale country club. It was very well priced and the sandwich was ridiculously delicious. I must say I leave Connemara more impressed each time I visit. Well done y’all
Very nice course
I really enjoyed playing this course. The conditions were very good, the only thing lacking was the tee boxes. There were a few that were full of weeds. Other than that, the greens and fairways are in excellent shape. The rough made it difficult to find many balls that should have been easy to locate. There are many unique holes with nice scenery and backdrops. The pro shop was very nice and the staff very friendly. After my round though I stopped back in to the pro shop and I could not find anyone. I had to hunt an employee down, which should not happen. However, the experience overall was great. It’s a fun course to play and I would definitely recommend it.
Solid
Solid course for the money. Course is in good shape, rough is a little thick and finding balls just off the fairway became an issue. Overall a good course in good shape for a fair price.

Hidden Gem
This was our first time playing and we could not be happier to find this course. With the exception of a few of the tee boxes, the course was in phenomonal shape. Hilly and well landscaped, it was a challenging day for two Florida golfers. We will definitely be back

Course conditions the best I've seen I've played this track for over thirty years.
Great day for golf!
Weather was fantastic which always means a great day for golf. The course was in good shape with the exception of the tee boxes. Just needed a good trimming. The greens had been aerated recently but have come back in very nicely. The greens rolled really true. I consider this course somewhat of a hidden gem in the Lexington area.
Course was in great shape for this time of year. Great layout and beautiful club house. The food and drinks were great and a good price. .
Great course for seniors
The course is in excellent shape and there are several tees to make it easy for seniors based on your skill level. Easy course to get on in the afternoon. Most seniors play in the morning.
