Connemara Golf Course

This course several times over the years... course condition was great... fairways nice and greens smooth and fast..rough high in places, but understandable due to recent wet erstger...Pro shop staff very helpful and pleasant..

Started off with back to back Park 5's! Then Park 3, then ANOTHER Park 5. I Loved it cause I can hit Driver, 3wd n be right there. Big fairways, DON'T MISS, Some Serious Rough. Rolling hills on some, nicely laid out. Your chipping n putting game BETTER be on! Fast not got Faster! Part 3 think was Hole 8.... pure evil. If not putting up hill by some miracle you got to sit on, the put Will be off the green. Watched 3 some in front of us, guy landed beautiful high iron on back of green. Putting went off into deep Valley in front, he picked up. My buddy landed in Valley on tee, beautiful chip up, talking 12-15 ft, stuck back of green. Putt went off back to valley... yup, he picked up too! Enjoy Ladies and Gentlemen!

With a golfnow hot deal, this is the best deal in town. This course has done a complete 180 in the past few years. Good on you guys.

They have done an amazing job rejuvenating this course. It is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Greens are firm with decent speed. Fairway and rough are both solid. I got it for $16 and its definitely a steal for that value. Kudos to alltech and the staff for pumping some money into the course. It's come a long way.

Nice layout and an excellent value. They are reseeding the fairways and the course is in overall good condition. Only negative is some of the bunkers could use some work.

Got a hot deal on this course and had never played it so I gave it a shot not expecting much for the price. Was I ever wrong! Everything was just about perfect..gorgeous fairways especially. Hats off to the maintenance crew..the only real fault I could mention is that the tee boxes needed more attention. Friendly staff to boot. Will definitely play again.

I fell in love with holes 5, 6 and 7. Not a better group of holes in this area. The bar dining area is spectacular love the wood and decorating but staff was a bit scarce as one person was trying to cover the proshop and lounge.

Greens had been airified. Holes were cut on edge of greens no matter how severe the slope. It was not fun putting.

While the fairways were in good shape, the 1st cut of the fairway had not been maintained recently. The 2nd cut off the fairways had also not been cut back recently.

Realizing that it was Labor Day, the pace of play was exceptionally poor. My son & I finally decided no to play the last 3 holes on the back 9 because it had taken nearly 2 hours just to play 10 - 15.

We showed up and the parking lot was full! We could see golfers around and thought ok just be patient and enjoy the day.

To our surprise the pace of play was nice and the course was in great shape.

I played some of the best golf I have played in a few months. The wind was gusting but it was a beautiful day on a nice well maintained course.

It's just a clean place inside the clubhouse and on the property. Must play course in Lexington.

I was told that it was not a very good course but, we wanted to play a new course so we tried it. I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in good shape. The greens were quick and true, the fairways were in good shape. Some of the tee boxes were a little rough but, it was the end of August. I will recommend this course and I will play it again.

Second time playing this course. I now play from the senior tees and white tees here are in line with senior tees elsewhere. I brought two of town college friends with me each time and they too commented how much they enjoyed playing Connemara. It is a fair layout , attainable greens in regulation and wonderful condition. Greens are challenging yet the breaks are readable for the most part.

This is a beautiful course in Lexington, KY that has the one of the best courses to play on in the area.

This is the first course I played years ago and it's still a decent course. The back nine has some fairly straight holes but the elevation can play tricks on you.

The front nine has par 5's that you can take adantage of but you have to watch the slopes. It's a fun course and the signature hole in my opinion is hole #11 Par 3.

Greens, fairways and t-boxes were in good shape.

I'll play it more often.

First time playing this course. Overall I enjoyed the round. The course is fairly wide open and great for beginners. First course I ever played that had 3 of the first 4 holes were par 5's. A few blind tee shots made it interesting to try to find you drive. Place of play was a little slow even though the course was not busy.
