Just ok
First thing I heard in pro shop: "Golfnow is sending us bookings for times we don't even have! They don't contact us or nothing!" Basically, they were running out of carts due to some double-bookings online.
Last thing I heard when leaving: "Yeah, Golfnow really has screwed us up today."
Course is in fair conditton, greens are potholed, tee boxes are temporary. I imagine most of this is due to the crazy summer we've had and loss of business, it's been better in the past.

I enjoyed the course. It has good up keep. The greens are situated well. At a great cost.
Down hill
Course has gone down hill since I last played. The greens were perfectly kept but the tee box and fairways were stone and extremely uneven.
4 friends catching up, Good times
Got a good deal in a last minute effort to catch up with old friends, I though the course played well, greens were super fast and soft. Fairways getting a touch hard but the grass was green. Carts are in goo condition, staff was super friendly.
Lose your ball in the fairway
One of those frustrating “lose your ball in the fairway” places. Greens are in decent condition. Tee boxes are not good; the grass could still touch my ball when teeing for my driver. Had to wait 35 minutes to tee off (25 minutes after tee time). Pace of play was slow, but luckily the two groups in front of us only played 9. I’m not local but the “budget” courses in my area charge less for better quality so needless to say, I wasn’t a fan.
Southwind Winchester
1st round of golf post Corona was nice! For $23 Southwind was a deal. Greens are in great shape and staff was very accommodating! A+
Tee boxes were not kept. Very hard ground and barely any grass on more than some. Some tee boxes were sloped. Hard to hit a drive that way. Couldn’t really ever tell if I was in the fairway or rough. Lots of dandelions everywhere but grass was short so no problem finding the ball. Greens were decent but a lot of golfers need to learn how to fix their divots.
Great Value
Snatched up this hot deal for $17 and one of the best deals in the region in my opinion! Friendly staff and others on the course on a slam packed Wednesday! Even had my son ride along and hit a few balls here and there he loved it! Greens are very challenging and help protect some of the short holes from low scores. Will definitely play again!
