The course was not in good condition. Tees were bad and greens very slow. Worst was the pace of play. Very slow.

This course needs some ownership who will put some money into proper maintenance. After the round a few members told me it used to be a beautiful course. They also mentioned there is no course superintendent. It’s easy to see the potential, but is currently nowhere near where it should be.

The only saving grace was the friendliness of the staff and the members. It is apparent that the owner has no idea how to manage or run a golf course because the staff onsite were doing the best given the circumstances. 1st thing is there were no golf carts left after charging a nonrefundable cart fee for everyone in my threesome. Ended up walking which is no big deal. The problem comes when members with a tee time an hour before mine were permitted to wait for cart availability were able to hop on the tee block and effectively back up all the scheduled tee times. At my time there were 3 groups waiting because members were permitted to take priority even though they elected to miss their times more than an hour prior.

The conditions on the course were absolutely horrendous. Tee blocks, if you could call them that, were majority dirt. There were no distinctions between fairway, first cut, or rough. It was grass roots and dirt all around. I’ve seen greens in worse condition but were probably a 2 out 5 overall.

My group decided it wasn’t even worth continuing to play after the first 9.

With all that being said, the staff was very courteous and hospitable. I think they were just dealt a soup sandwich by the way they are directed to manage.

Bonus is the driving range is free…that is if there are any balls left to grab.

Was expecting nicer, but had fun. Cart about died on 14, limped back. Good enuf.

I paid for my green fees through GolfNow. When I arrived at the course, the staff tell me they are in a dispute with GolfNow and I have to pay for the green fees again. They claim GolfNow doesn’t pay them the green fees.

Overall the course is decent but not worth the hassle of trying to get your money back.

Pace of play was average. Bunkers were recently filled with fresh sand. The course layout features a lot of doglegs. You cannot just use the big stick to over power it. Greens were rolling at a decent speed but were a little bumpy. Seemed recently aerated which probably contributed to this. Overall solid course for the money. There wasn’t any water coolers in the course and no beverage cart.

Images of a course new to me collided with reality. Leaves everywhere, lost 4 balls over the first 8 holes - all right around the greens. Many grassless areas forcing play off of dirt. Greens well maintained, lots of well maintained traps. Friendly staff but overall not a target for my future golf plans.

Great , challenging layout. Beautiful landscape. But terrible fairways, dried out and hard. Aerated greens, slow. Some T boxes had very little grass

Conditions were leas than ideal…half of it is bare and the other half is dead. Greens were punched and we had no warning. Just way to expensive for the conditions it’s in. It has a great layout and tons of potential but in it’s current state, take your money elsewhere

Paid 60 for holiday AM so value was really good imo. Course conditions were not that bad. Spotty here and there but definitely playable. Good pace greens in decent shape.

This course has an interesting layout, requires strategic approach. 14th, 15th and tee shot on 16 (make sure to go to the elevated tee) are highlights. Unfortunately course is not in great shape. Tee boxes variable, greens ok but slow.

Nice features are the included driving range balls, and separate practice green for short game.

Clubhouse is barebones, did not see food/beverage options.

On the plus side, very convenient to downtown DC, and not crowded. On a Monday mid-morning played in 3.5 hours.
