Middle of the Road on Everything
Just ok to average for google out to get a round in. Course was saturated from rain, does not drain well and it was virtually impossible to locate balls in the high gras on multiple holes. Moisture forced plugging of balls and when you step on the fairways and walking areas your foot sinks in the quick sand-rice patty conditions. Got my round in but it was after continuous trials and careful navigation of course conditions.
Greens are in terrible conditions
Fairways were good but most of the greens are in terrible shape. They appear to be diseased because brown spots are in the greens.

National Golf Club
Good value for $70, considering the area. I played on a Tuesday at 1145. There were not a lot of players. I went off by myself and played 18 in about 2 hours and 10 minutes. It was fun. As I was finishing it appeared a ladies group was beginning. Greens were good, but tee boxes and fairways could've have been better.

Potential but not great
The course conditions were not great. The tee boxes were not even and had tons of patches , some didn’t have any grass at all. The fairways grass was very inconsistent. The greens seemed to be ok, very slow and people are not fixing their pitch marks. Overall the course has potential but for the price it doesn’t seem worth it.

Great course, but not after a rain.
Very wet the day after a rain storm. We had a lightning delay mid-round and returned to the course after 45 minutes. While it was sunny at the clubhouse when we got to our last hole to finish the play, the rains came again after waiting 30 minutes with no let-up, we called it a day. We were issued rain checks for nine holes.

Hidden Gem
Great spot for a Friday round with great pace of play. Course is challenging, but not impossible and in solid condition. This course is a great bang for your buck!

Not for Avid golfers
No water coolers on the course in 90° weather. The tee boxes are uneven and there is nowhere to get good footing. The fairway is basically the rough with patchy grass. The greens are cut to the length the fairway should be. The pace of play is 5 hours. If you’re looking for an enjoyable round at a course with decent conditions, this is not the place for you. If you don’t care about conditions or playing without water in the dead of summer then this place is for you. Would not recommend for avid golfers. Not to mention they didn’t even have hot dogs at 1 pm.

Bunkers and cart
The bunkers were in bad shape with standing water. The golf cart center console came apart and feel onto the floor. USB ports did not work.

Most greens in good shape. Tees and fairways are a bit patchy. Fairways were not lush and uniform.

Poor Golf Experience
Pace of Play: Not terrible. There were open tee times so we played quick.
Course Conditions:
-Tee boxes might as well have been sand bunkers.
- Dead grass everywhere
-Trash on the course
-Greens were decent but 5 feet off the green turns right into dead grass and sand again.
-Hitting out of dirt in the middle of the fairway.
Staff Friendliness
-Would’ve been average for a muni course. I had higher expectations for a private course but nothing too bad or too good.
Value for the Money

Course Layout
- Actually very neat and challenging layout. Would’ve enjoyed it if it was in playable condition.
Off Course
- It states that range balls are included which is not true. $6 to hit off of mats is actually pretty decent but nothing else to offer.
I picked up and left after 9 holes. Challenging layout combined with unplayable conditions we’re unbearable. Maybe I need to lower my expectations for the area but this course is no better than a local muni on a good day.

Nice course layout
I can see remnants of a course that once was. The course has so much potential to be a great little club again. The course needs to embrace all homeowners that live in the course and demand a fee for that privilege. If no fees are paid when a house is sold and mentions on the course a percentage of the sale should be given. Point is the course looks to need funding for the superintendent to be able to do their job and get the course back into shape. I would recommend anyone who can play to make it out there at least once before it closes.

May have good at one time…but that time is not now.
The course needs a lot of work. Fairways were bad, tee boxes were awful, greens were okay but bumpy. Staff at the bar were nice, and the food was okay. Bottom line I wouldn’t pay even the hot deals price to play here again.
