Swan Point Yacht & Country Club
About
Situated along the shores of the Potomac River in southern Maryland, Swan Point Country Club has been ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in the state. Golfers who enjoy playing in the Carolinas will feel right at home on this course. Water or marshland comes into play on 12 holes and there is an abundance of pine trees. The course is also home to a variety of wildlife including osprey, bald eagles, and deer. In addition to the water, strategically placed bunkers add another challenging element to the golf course. The par-5 fourth hole is considered the signature, mostly due to the challenging island green. Proper club selection is key in order to maneuver past the lake that runs along the entire left side of the fairway. The hole is especially hard on windy days.

The point
This is a tough course . Beautiful views and great layout. Staff is great
judaist pigs.
Then I actually asked to talk to the two managers IN CHARGE of hiring, you know what I was told? "No." I am not even allowed to talk to someone on this earth? Who the are you to tell me what to do and who I can or can't talk to. Their excuse is "they're in a tournament." No they weren't, I looked outside after, saw no people, no tournament anywhere, and then was told they would all come back inside. Complete lies.
The absolute Robin stopped me from getting a job here and who knows who else they turned away to leave these people jobless and homeless, they don't manage they admitted they have nothing to do with employment, only with sabotaging people's rights, freedom and ability to live.
Very nice and challenging
Very hot with the weather but the cart lady and halfway house were right on time.
The golf course in very good condition and a huge challenge.
We will be back

Nice course
The course is ready good but they don’t give you a cart with the tee time you pay for and they charge a lot for them
Great Course and Experience
I've played in the fall a few times here and enjoyed myself. This year was the first time I played during the regular season. Every hole has a unique and difficult feel but extremely fun. Plenty of wild life around, seemed like we ran into a different animal on every hole. Plenty of geese running around the course but they politely move as your cruse the course. Beverage cart comes by a few times and the club house has great food, I highly suggest the chips! Great experience every visit I make here.
Excellent views for a course!
Not sure if it was time of year, but grass was in horrible shape. Views and course layout was awesome. Lots of water makes it a challenge.
Southern Md Gem
This course has quickly become one of my favorite in southern Maryland the layout is quite challenging and often challenges your mental state versus your physical. The grass has that Bermuda type seating which takes a little longer to Green yet the condition of the fairways and bunkers and the Speedy greens were all in great shape.
Always Like a One-Day Golf Vacation
Caught a perfect combination of weather combined with a President's Day holiday. Temps in the mid-60s in February with no rain for 4 days and low humidity allowed the course to dry-out nicely. The only drawback to Swan Point is that it needs 2 to 3 days to dry-out after any moderate to heavy rain. Other than that, this course is a gem, and it was in great condition on this day. A local golf mag once said "If your friends blindfolded you and drove you around for 8 hours before taking you to Swan Point, you would think you were playing a course in Myrtle Beach".
Hardest sand I’ve ever hit out of
We went up there and they had everything as cart path only (would’ve just went to driving range had we known). The sand traps I don’t think have been fluffed in at least a month so they were extremely hard, I know if I just played better the sand traps wouldn’t concern me but none the less it was a good time .
