Can't go wrong for $15!
Southern Maryland has been decimated with an incredible amount of rain and Wicomico has done the best they can moving all the rain, and being able to play early January is a bonus and not a regular event.
So for now, you will be teeing off on temporary tees, not the tee box. The greens are also under heavy sanding, so give it a couple weeks.
But for $15 with a cart, we'll worth my day
Nice is course condition were better
Need work on slow greens, fairway inconsistencies slow also. Fairway Drainage needs improvement, staff and facilities beautiful.
Well worth a round!
Loved the course. Some very challenging holes with reasonably fast greens and some tough to read pin placements. Will certainly play again. This round was a Hot Deal.
Perfect Weather
i booked my time TEEvia golf now and the course was in great shape. i will be returning
Slow greens
Ok course if you are in the area. Greens were very slow and had a grass growing in them that didn't belong. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. I would play again when passing through the area.
BEAUTIFUL COURSE
BEAUTIFUL course! I'm a beginner golfer and even though I didn't score well, I loved this course and I'll be back any time I'm in the area. The staff is VERY friendly and welcoming. I liked it so much I bought one of their shirts. That ought to say something more about it than the few words I've typed here.
Great Muni
Wicomico Shores is county owned and operated. Patty the professional always insures that everyone is treated well and have a great experience.
My group is rather large (12 -16) on a given weekend and there is never a problem accommodating us.
Fairways were in good shape. Numbers 11 & 15 were cart path only due to being soft, but with the large amount of rain we have had in Southern Maryland the past month, it can be expected.
Greens/Tee Boxes were in great shape. Traps not so good, but again, with the large amount of rain, they were still very wet, with some puddles.
Highly recommend that you play this course and bring them your business. You won't be disappointed.
