Great couse perfect maintained. Enjoy the day and will come back again. Travel from Virginia to play this beautiful course and I am glad that I did.

Course was great. A little hike from DC but for price and quality of the course, best place I've played this season!

For late fall golf (11/4) the conditions were fabulous. The greens were fast but true. The rough was not a jungle. The fairways were well maintained without bare spots. For having had two days of high winds just before, the amount of leaf litter was minimal.

I played the course twice last year. This is the only time this year. Even just two prior trips through helped my course management. There are a lots of changing grades, both along and across the fairways. They take some experience for a 20 HCP golfer. The Better golfers with also had some problems. Nonetheless the course was fair, particularly if you have a decent short game.

I haven't played this course in 12-15 years. It just hasn't been convenient to get there. There was a frost delay to day that we played so that pushed out 12:40 start time back to about 1:15. The round was a bit slow but understandable given the delay. I REALLY enjoyed the course today. It was in vary good condition and I loved the challenges and elevation changes. The greens ran medium with some challenging pin placements. I would definitely go back.

I am from out of state. I went as a single and got hooked up with three locals. We were second off in the morning. It was chilly (45 degrees) at tee off, but beautiful by time the round ended. The greens had been aerated, but not the big holes/ just the slats. The greens were very good. The course was challenging but fair. Some hills, some blind shots, but the next time around, it would be straightforward. Pace of play was great (3 hours 15 minutes as second group off). Conditions were 8 out of 10. Greens were fair but had some subtle breaks which made making the putts difficult. I would play again - good time!

Course is in very good overall shape. There are a few brown areas on some holes, and players are not fixing their ball marks on the greens, but fairways look really good. Greens were running fast. Late Wednesday morning round took 4 hours & 20 mins.

Usually I shoot a 72, but here I shot a 96. Absolutely atrocious!

Everywhere else I shoot a 72 and at this course I shot 96. Stay away from here it’s bad luck, this course sucks.

I have always enjoyed playing here and it’s great to see that the course is in such great condition. Brought a friend along and he thoroughly enjoyed his round.

Tee boxes were not consistently placed, yardages on the card did not match. Maybe the season?

Overall though, the fairways were smooth and afforded good bounces. They drain well and are clearly well maintained. The rough is kept in check and very few bald spots, only a few around the greens.

Speaking of the greens, rolled fast and true as many have said!

Pace of play? We started at 1pm and finished at 420, without any pressure behind and no issues ahead.

If you want a pristine golf course go join one of the expensive country clubs. If you really want to have fun do yourself a favor and go play Challedon. The course is in nice shape. The layout is fun and the staff is helpful and friendly. The course is challenging for all skill levels and the pace of play is better than most courses in the area.

I have played most courses within a 50 mile radius of DC and this has to be top 3 if not the best. Conditions were great, great balance of toughness on the course, greens in great shape. I recommend at least one round here to try it out!
