The course is in great shape and staff are affable and helpful. One problem I noticed when returning my golf cart, was the lack of Clorox in the spray that is used to disinfect the golf carts. I asked an attendant why it was empty and he said, it’s been empty for days. That alarmed me. Safety should be the top priority.

Negatives. Too many blind shots. It is fine once you know the course but this being my first time I had to drive forward on a couple holes to see where I needed my T-shirt to go. Also the greens played very slow.

Positives. Almost everything else. The course was in really good condition and has a nice layout. I would be happy to play this course again.

The Course was very nice I had a good experience. The pro shop was very difficult to deal with and not very friendly but I found the cart staff and restaurant staff to be very nice. The carts were some of the best and cleanest I’ve seen in all the courses I’ve played throughout Maryland

The course is always in pristine condition! The staff is very customer friendly and willing to go the extra mile!

This is our favorite course to play. The course is challenging yet fun for all ages. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this course.

I booked a tee time for 8 July for 3 friends and myself a week early. After booking I received an alert for my credit card that the course had charged me for all 4 green fees. One of my friends had a complimentary pass. I immediately called the shop and explained the situation. I was assured by the shop assistant that upon presentation of the pass, my credit card account would be credited for the complimentary round. When I checked in on 8 July, low and behold the shop would not credit my account but gave me a rain check instead......So, either the shop assistant lied to me when I initially called or he is not trained properly. Or it could be the individual that gave me the rain check is not trained properly. There was no manager available the entire day to discuss the situation with. Very disappointing...I can understand the policy of requiring a credit card to hold the tee time. I do not understand the policy of charging the card in advance and ten not crediting the account when presented with a complimentary pass..

I generally play Challedon 5-8 times a year. It's almost an hour drive, but most of the time worth it. Today was a surprise, and caught me off guard. First the good review: greens were in exceptional condition, fairways and bunkers were in good shape, and the course layout is a favorite. They keep this course typically in very good condition and manicured nicely. Now for the not so good review: tee boxes were the only parts of the general area I noticed needed a bit of work, the pace of play was slow (and I had to go back and talk to the guys behind us because they hit up on us twice...they backed off), and, like the other review, I was surprised when I got there and they didn't honor the Tee Time Pass. After discussing it with the guy behind the counter, he reluctantly gave me the Tee Time Book Rate, but warned it would no longer be honored in the future except for walk ons. The Mgr also told me that they would only honor walk ons through the end of July because their contract expired August 1st, which is not true according to Golf Pass which I called this afternoon. Challedon's tee sheet is packed and they have hiked up the price, so don't want to honor the cheaper rates. It's unfortunate, because it left a very bad taste in my mouth. I will patronize other courses who honor the Tee Time Pass and care about my business. I generally play 4 times a week, so I'm going to spend that money some place--it won't be at Challedon though. Unfortunate for both of us...

Played this course today. We had a tee time, and we all had either tee time golf pass or the digital version. They told us that they no longer will accept them for tee times, only for walk ons. They were very condescending about the matter, and begrudgingly gave us the rate advertised. I generally like this course, but after driving almost an hour to get there I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon for that sort of treatment.

I've been playing Challedon for over 10 years -- I"ve never seen the course in better shape. The management team has worked very hard over the lst few years to bring the club back to life. The Links at Challedon offer a challenging course (for amateur golfers), a variety of holes, new golf carts, a friendly staff, clean facilities and a nice grill with good food and drink after your round. If you haven't played, give Challedon a chance, you'll like it.

This course is in excellent conditions. I found that the greens are consistent through the entire course. Shop staff was very helpful, and the rounds were running smoothly even though the course was packed to the brim. Definitely coming back.

Golfing at Challedon is my go to course. From the many practice tee's to the putting greens. I find it easy to concentrate and enjoy myself at the same time. The staff is super accommodating, hustling to get anything needed to prepare you for a challenging round. Maintenance of the course is given the utmost of attention. At 9 or 18, getting a snack to ordering dinner for my family is alway easy and taste. Not sure if my favorite is the Chicken sandwich with dipping sauce or the bacon cheeseburger, eating in or carry out. It is also great being able to take the grand kids there as if we are playing putt putt, and then sitting out on the patio for drinks and food. As the many yearly events from Santa Claus visits to The Make A Wish fundraisers and Toys for Tots present drive. You will enjoy yourself every time.

The course is in great shape, the staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant knocks it out of the park. Highly recommend.

I've played the course about 6 times the last month and each time the course seems to be getting better. The greens are rolling well and getting a little faster each time I play. T boxes and fairways are in good shape.

The staff has always been very pleasant and helpful.

The practice area is good, I particularly like the chipping green to work on my game.

With a full course on Wednesday I played 9 holes in about 2 hours.

The Links at Challedon is a pretty good course for the cost. To start, the driving range is okay with plenty of targets, however, the mats are in poor shape. The course conditions were in pretty good shape - greens were great but rolled a little slow, fairways weren't too bad, but the tee boxes could use some work. Overall, it's a nice place to play and I would definitely come back for another round.
