Eastmoreland Golf Course
About
Eastmoreland Golf Course was laid out in 1917 by National Amateur Champion, H. Chandlar Egan. Today, Eastmoreland is ranked by Golf Digest among the top public courses in the country. Eastmoreland is as beautiful as it is challenging, bordered in part by Portland’s Rhododendron Gardens and Crystal Springs Lake. The environment provides a home for thousands of birds including great blue herons, mallards, wood ducks and more. The tree-lined fairways are beautiful year round and the natural hazards such as ravines, streams and lakes require the best from any golfer.

The course condition
The golf was in great shape this week. Tee boxes, fairways,,greens. The golf carts ran fine.Could not have asked for a better time.Good job.I know the temperature will be rising to over 100 soon.So this might be last time this summer the will hold up like today
Just crowded for a Wednesday
And perhaps the spacing of start times is too close as a result, we ended up with two foursome groups on the same tee box several times waiting around. But everyone seemed to enjoy the nice weather so that helped. Plan accordingly.
Nice Day
Enjoyed the course. It was in great shape and so was the greens. pace of play was acceptable. Would definitely play the course again. Only drawback was getting out of the parking lot as I could not turn left due to auto traffic and cars not letting anyone else. Otherwise a nice day.
Great Day
Day was perfect. Course was in great shape. Going home and dealing with Portland traffic sucks. But that is not the coursr’s fault.
Great Course
Due to the pandemic you play the back 9 first. The hardest holes are on the back. Course was in great shape. Played just over 4 hrs. I will be back
Second Time
Great little city course in one of the better neighborhoods in Portland!
Good course
Course was in good condition. Greens in great shape for the time of season. Always a challenging layout,
Nice Public Track
The course in is great shape, the layout is good with the exception of the long walk on the front side around a rhododendron park. Greens are nice but rather slow...there are a lot of trees!
Staff mistake
The person behind the counter told me I was to tee off on #10. When I made the turn there was a bunch of golfers teeing off on #1. The starter told me the counter person told me the wrong tee.I then had to go back and play the back nine again. Not what I had planned
