About
Eastmoreland Golf Course was laid out in 1917 by National Amateur Champion, H. Chandlar Egan. Today, Eastmoreland is ranked by Golf Digest among the top public courses in the country. Eastmoreland is as beautiful as it is challenging, bordered in part by Portland’s Rhododendron Gardens and Crystal Springs Lake. The environment provides a home for thousands of birds including great blue herons, mallards, wood ducks and more. The tree-lined fairways are beautiful year round and the natural hazards such as ravines, streams and lakes require the best from any golfer.

Golfer Reviews
Great weather and a beautiful track
Eastmoreland is a gem in SE Portland. This is by far the best time to play this very challenging course. Cathedral golf with walls of tall trees on both sides on every shot. Flat tee boxes and true quick greens. Enjoy
Tee boxes
The tee boxes are in terrible shape!
They need work and maybe some sand to fill the divots
Tee boxes
The tee boxes, were in terrible shape!
The Par 3's were full of divots.
Where is the sand with seed to fill in the divots?
The others need help also
The city of Portland needs to take care of their course, rather than rasing rates!
Tough Course
I knew ahead of time that your golf course be more difficult than average, especially since your Slope from the Whites are 134. It certainly lived up to that. Since this was my first time playing it, in order to play it better than I did, you really need to play I at least five times to enjoy this fine gem of a golf course.
Scratch This Course Off My List
Slow play seems to be the norm at this course. It took us nearly 3 hours to play the front nine and then the course sent a bunch of people out on the back nine as we were making the turn. Very frustrating. Also, the speed of the greens was very inconsistant.
Love this course
Course is in great shape. Greens are rolling true. Always a challenge, but the back nine is super fun and there are wildlife moments galore. I great way to spend the afternoon.
Top tier Muni
Corse is in very good condition, greens are fast not a few still slightly sandy. Most Bunkers are wet, otherwise great job by the grounds crew.
Good round at Eastmoreland
Front nine was blissfully empty. Great condition. Back nine we ran into a slog of backed up foursomes. Everyone has a right to their pace of play, but this course known for slow play in my experience.
Good round of golf.
Really enjoyed the course. Had a good time and the weather was pretty good.
