About
Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

Exceptional Value and Great Views
No better course in the area for the money. Relatively easy course with little OB. Made for a great round.
Good golf at a great price
Considering how dry it has been lately, the course was in good condition. Pace of play was never an issue (morning tee time). Nice to see cold water on the course on such a hot day!

Hidden gem...
I really like this course. It's a hidden away gem a little bit out of the city. The staff is really nice the conditions were great but it is not a country club course but a great value for the money
Love this course
It was hot as "you know what" so many people didn't show up. Their loss....the course is in great shape and was fun but challenging. The bunkers are in better shape than previously. We only waited a few times on the back 9. But wasn't too bad. The staff was really friendly. Enjoyed the day.

Good value for the money
Great course for the money. Played on Saturday and finished in 4:30 which is amazing. The gps on carts is surprisingly accurate. There still should be No cart signs when approaching the green. It was annoying when cart started beeping saying no carts allowed. The only way to move the cart was in reverse but could have been avoided if more no cart signs were displayed. Loved ordering food from the cart as it was super efficient. Love the course

The overall condition of the course was pretty good except the greens were slower than three weeks ago.
