Glade Valley Golf Club

Some fairways a bunkers had puddles of water and it has not rained for 2 weeks. Probably over watering.

Played earlier in the year and it was well maintained. This time the bunkers were not raked or kept up and the fairways and greens were not mowed. Maybe just caught them at a bad time but still would go back for the golfnow hot deal rate.

The course is in good shape considering the cooler weather and little rain. The greens were very fast.

There was slow play due to an outting.

Love this course. Cheapest course around and has gps on cart that is incredibly accurate. Great value for the money

This course is generally in better condition. I guess you might be able to blame it on all the rain we had two weeks ago but it has been pretty nice the past week. So, the fairways shouldn't have had clumps of grass all over the place and length of the fairway grass was different all along the fairways. Someplaces, not quit but almost as long as the rough. The greens were Ok though.

Wouldn't recommend this course in the condition it was yesterday but played twice earlier this year and the maintenance on the course was much better

After 10 days of rain, and only 2 and a half days after, it was a little furry. The fairways were like the first cut of rough. The rough was dense and deep. Lost several balls even knowing where they landed. But that is to be expected. We were happy it wasn’t cart path only. Pace of play was slow, waiting on every hole. The twosome behind us brought their 4 year old sons, who would not stop yelling and screaming - disconcerting on the tee box when about to hit your drive - and then were hitting down on us. One ball hit one of my golfing partners. Kudos for taking your kids out to learn, but teach them etiquette as well. I love this course and will continue to come back, though.
