About
Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

I don’t like to overrate any reviews.
This is a good course layout but it is not well maintained. The greens are in good shape but the fairways have too many bad bold spots. The ball never lies correctly. Always imperfect . The facility is there but it has been abandoned. The snack bar is very unappealing and with minimal staff. The carts are ok. The range is ok. The price has gone up and during the summer it is ridiculous. 2021 price of 69 dollars is insane for a decaying course.
I play here as a practice course.

Great day to play and had the opportunity to play with 2 golfers that were very funny to golf with. The course played well and the pace of play was consistent. Change of ownership is affecting the snack room and some other amenities but the staff was awesome as usual and I had a great round.

Perfect Day for Golf!
We had a great round of golf. We were a twosome and the pace was average. The weather was nice, not too cold or windy. We always enjoy coming to Glade.
