About
Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

Good layout/poor shape
Nice lay out but the course is burnt to a crisp. Bunkers are hard pan as well. A lot of areas with no grass at all

Good course for a casual round.
We play here every month or so. Staff is always very friendly and rates are reasonable. Course has several interesting/challenging holes but otherwise pretty standard. Bathrooms and snack bar are poor.

Very nice golf course
I recently played my first round here, and will definitely return. The staff was friendly, the course was in good condition, and I enjoyed my day. This is a good course for walking, and can be challenging from the back tees. Don't forget to take some time to enjoy the views.

this course is fun somewhat challenging & Great staff
