About
Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

the course was in good shape for having rained the night before. it wasn't cart path and the sun shining made it even better.
Too cold
Only played 3 holes. Temp was 48 degrees then the wind started blowing @ 15kts. Had to quit.

A Nice Day
Played as a twosome and hardly had to wait on any hole. Greens and tees were in excellent shape, and the fairways were in decent too.

Pretty good especially for us newbies
This was my first time playing after being away from the game for 15 or more years. The course layout was fair and in pretty good shape. The sand traps need some work but we just had a big storm blow through a couple of days prior. The tee boxes were a little worn but it was not a problem. We had a good time playing just the front nine.

Glade golf
Great course, terrible bunkers sand is hard as a rock and very shallow.

Course and clubhouse is in bad shape. Use to be a nice course and was well maintained. Not now.
