Crestview Country Club

This course is trash and will never come.close to what it once was. Management doesn't care about anything beyond taking your money. Maintenance doesn't seem to exist here. Let this course die like the others in the area, it's only a write-off for the owner and it shows.

First of all I used to play this course as a guest when it was private and in fantastic private cc shape, I’ve also played it from time to time over the last ten years and have been distressed by the degrading condition of the place. I would say the course is coming back and was very enjoyable to play. Most of the recent complaints focus on cart path condition and dampness of ground. Well there is clear indication that new cart paths have been installed with many more needed, didn’t care as my friend and I chose to walk. With regards to the dampness of the place, there was no standing water except in one bunker marked gup, you could feel the softness of the ground from all the rain we’ve had, look it’s built on clay so it’s going to feel soft and damp at times, just time your play. The greens were soft a fast, bunkers well maintained and the fairways cut pretty short. Overall it was great and we will be back. By the way lunch at The View restaurant was fabulous.

We payed roughly $70 for 18 with a cart. The course condition was not great. Stuck behind many slow players. And it was soaked, in my opinion shouldn’t have been open but I was stuck with the tee time.

All cart paths need replacement. Bunkers need to be fixed. Rough is way too high. Not a good value

It’s been a wet summer and the lack of drainage in some areas has caused turf rot in the fairways.

Greens were in A1 condition. Nice layout.

Crestview was in horrendous condition. All bunkers were full to brim with water, if the bunker was not filled with water it had weeds growing over the top of it. On the second hole the maintenance team was working with an excavator in the middle of the fairway and had no consideration to the players while they were hitting their shots. The grass was unmowed in most areas and the weeds were out of control many drinks were also spilled in the car due to cart path only rules and massive sink holes and lack of maintenance to the cart path. The course has good bones but unfortunately it has not been maintained, very disappointing to a local player.

This course use to be a great course. I’ve always loved the layout but it no longer holds the same glory since new ownership. The staff is rude, greens fees are overpriced and the course conditions are terrible. There are so many other options for golf in our area where you can find reasonable prices, friendly staff and overall better experience.

Wanted to give the place another shot after being an absolute waste of time and money last summer. The owner will pretend the place is 'a gem' but it is for from it. Clearly still just using the course as a write off, and it shows. Please do yourself a favor and skip this dump for the many other courses in the area. 6ouve been warned!!!

This course was one of the nicest best kept beautiful courses around. but that was not the case today. The front 9 was in better shape than the back 9. Fairways all around had lots of bare spots and weeds. The greens were spotty and rough. The cart paths were in terrible disrepair and it was cart path only. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price and the discount price was way too much for the course conditions. I hope they can get the course back to what it was.

The restaurant is lovely and the views from the patio are amazing.

I used to look forward to treating myself to a Round at Crestview. It used to be excellent.

The past two times I’ve played were disappointing. Greens in very poor condition.

Pace was very slow. 5 hour round.

Worth 35 dollars a round, sure. But not 70!

Many of the tee boxes and fairways were burnt out or soggy. Hard to rationalize why these two conditions existed simultaneously.

Greens were aerated and had not been cut or rolled.

Just here to reiterate my review of this dump, as I have no personal connection to this course. Like the past few reviews have stated, you are wasting your time and money if you play here. Greens are shot, fringes are burnt, fairways are pretty bad, and tee boxes are dirt. It's sad when the mini courses are in far better shape, but this is the current state of crestview. Pass this place by, members ( not sure how you could justify joining this place,) should be irate at the conditions. Every little shortcut that can be taken, is taken. Don't expect to find water in the ball washers, or a cart girl that can take a card in 2022, but what you will find is tires and trenches in the weed and grass filled bunkers.

Please save yourself the frustration of playing this dump.
