Crestview Country Club
Amazing course for the money! Played really well and fairways and greens were in incredible shape even for Covid 19 era. I totally understand why they had a US Open qualifying round there
A Good Day
A scenic, very good and challenging course. Wet in places due to rain the prior day made the course play longer. Otherwise, grass portions in great shape and greens rolled very well. Cart paths and a few of the traps in need of maintenance. It was worth the hour drive to play.
Great course visually not a bad view anywhere on the course
My second time playing the course. I like it even better . When playing this golf course from the tees it looks very wide open but in reality you have to think about where
you want your drive to end up. This is a great design feature for a golf course. The greens where in perfect shape for this time of year. The staff also was very friendly. Only negative was the cart paths and finding some of the tee boxes.
Very nice track
This coarse was in great shape. Tee boxes ,fairways, greens very well kept. Layout of the coarse is very well designed. Very fair as far as risk reward. Long enough for most to handle but could play very long from tips if looking for a challenge. Would recommend to anyone who’s up for a good round for a fair price. Will be back again.
Expected better
For a place that used to be private, I was expecting much nicer. The cart paths are old and crappy, the bunkers are rock quarries and al it of the fairways have burn spots. Of the four courses I’ve played locally this season, this one was in the worst shape. WAY better options locally for the same or less money.
A retro throwback with good bones
I grew up on a Geoffrey Cornish course, and while experience has showed my the limitations of his work, there's an endearing simplicity to it that I believe makes it underrated, especially as part of the supposed "Dark Ages" of course design.
Crestview is a former private club that has seen better days, but I enjoyed playing it and hope it can be spared the ravages of recent history in the industry. It was in good shape and the stately, meandering design charmed me, though it could do with some tree removal and better mowing lines.
Do Not Pay to Play this golf course
The conditions of this golf course were a complete embarrassment. The rough was uncut, the fairways were full of tire ruts and uncut long grasses. The bunkers had no sand and were completely full of mud and water. The water hazard was overcome with algae and the cart paths were completely non-navigable. This property is in complete disrepair and it is obvious that the owners either do not have the money to maintain it or they just don't care . It is a complete embarrassment that they took my money. DO NOT PLAY.
White tees play a little long at 6,300 +. Longer par 4s but some short par 5s. Greens in great shape with lots of break. Beware of cart paths - horrible. Use the grass instead.
Great greens
Course is challenging, but very fair. The greens are famyastic and run at close to an 11. The only knock on tje course is that the bunkers need new sand.
Great conditions awesome clubhouse overlooking the 18th green
Perfect day ended with drinks on the patio overlooking the 18th green while acoustic music being played we will be back!!!
