Must Play
Book your tee time and enjoy a wonderful round of golf. You'll rank this course as one of your favorite . . . and the staff as the best you've encountered.
Great time a t Creastview
I play with the Safari Club and we went to play a round of golf. We had a super time. We are about 100 people and they treated us super. The course was in great shape with the fairways the best we have played on this season. The greens were in great shape and a little faster than I'm used to putting on. The greens were very true. I had a great round and birdied holes on 10 and 11. First time I done that this year. After the round they provided a supper buffet it was the best we have this season. Will sure to be back.
Absolutely Spectacular
Played here with the Safari Club and what a great experience it was for me and all our members.
Course is in IMMACULATE shape and is one of the very best layouts to be found anywhere in the northeast.
Also, if you need a bite to eat go no further than their 19th hole. They put a buffet together for us that was absolutely out of this world.
Crestview is an easy 5-star golf venue for anyone to enjoy.
Hard to find better in WMass
The track and the conditions are excellent. Crestview is easily in the class with The Orchards and Crumpin- Fox. Fairways and greens are always in top condition. And hard to beat those four closing holes!
One of the best kept courses in Western MA
Love getting out to play Crestview. By far one of my favorite courses in Western MA , and when you can get out there and play it for under $40 with golfnow.com it's a bargain. I've played many of the private courses around and Crestview always seems to be in better shape. Staff did a great job with the leaves which is challenging this time of year. The greens were pretty quick and the rough was very thick. Keep it in the fairway off the tee! Short chips onto fast greens out of that rough is no easy task. I would suggest aiming at the middle of the green.
Great course, highly recommend playing it.
This course is in great condition and is very well run. The greens were true and a test of your putting skills. I can't wait to play this course again.
Nice old school course.
Most of the holes are fairly long which allows you to use all the clubs in your bag. The course is challenging, but not unfair.
For the price it's a must play
Great course to play, unfortunately I played in the rain but it still was a great time. i will definitely go back in better weather.
Best public in Western MA
Other than getting stuck behind a foursome which refused to let us play through on the back our group had a great outing. Nice layout, challenging and without gimmicky holes. More playable/enjoyable than Crumpin' Fox or the Ranch
Most enjoyable round of golf in Western Mass
Crestview sports the best course layout in western mass. It thoroughly challenges you without penalizing you with lost ball after lost ball like other difficult courses. The conditions are always excellent and the greens can get rolling quite fast. Pace of play is never an issue. Don't pass on an opportunity to play here.
Nice
Good course, will go back. Got good price from this service for a 7AM tee time no one there played in under 2 hrs, loved that!
Greens being aerated!!
Love this course, but wish I knew that the greens were being aerated. Definitely reduces the quality of the course as the greens become incredibly slow and your putts will bounce on their way to the cup once on the green. So, overall the course was still in good shape, but just know that the greens are being aerated. In about 2 weeks, it will probably be back to great shape.
Good course, great fairways.
Greens were aerated, which wasn't advertised when tee time was booked and the back 9 was closed so we had to replay the front 9. All in all, beautiful course and looking forward to going back when the greens are cleaned up.
Challenging but fair for all levels!
I will definitely play this course again. The fairways and greens are in great condition. Only reason I did not rate this course pristine is because the bunkers were not consistent meaning one was soft sand the other was hard sand. If you are a scrabbler like me you will love this course. I was in the trees on more than one occasion but had opportunities to still go after the green.
Ranger was a little irritating telling us to speed play up because we were 3 mins behind schedule. Really?? Overall, great experience!
Good course, awful experience
Crestview CC recently went "semi-private", offering limited early AM tee times (7-730) on weekends, as well as other times to try to attract new members. Apparently their members and some staff members either didn't get the memo and wish they didn't go "semi-private".
We booked a 4some at 730, and were excited to play the course. That quickly changed after just a few holes in. Apparently the club had an inter-club tournament starting at 8 am, which we came to find out later. After starting a few minutes late due to nothing more than it being early and a few errant drives off the first by the groups ahead, it began to rain, slowing us down from our normal pace. As we reach the 7th tee we're approached by a condescending starter who tells us we're 15 minutes behind pace. We understood, but the manner in which we were approached would frustrate the most patient individual. Clearly flustered by the comments of the ranger, we began spraying it all over in an attempt to rush around and make up a few minutes. This is about the time the 3some behind our 4some caught us and began to get a close to us as possible with their shots. Let me mention, this 3some contained 1 walker, and 2 riders, each with separate carts...and clearly in a rush to get done as they were 2 holes ahead pf the group behind them. Long story short, after a verbal confrontation with them on #10/11, and the comments of the ranger, we were beyond frustrated. Not to mention, by the time we reached the 12th tee, we were waiting on the group in front of for the remainder of the round.
Note to the Crestview Staff: Don't allow early morning play if your members expect to play in 3-3.5 hours. Also, your ranger needs some lessons in customer service.
Needless to say, we won't be back even though we like the course and its a pretty good value. It's just not worth the potential headache and ultimately round ruining experience we had this weekend.
Nice course.
Will play there again. Fairways and greens are very good. Rough needs to be better maintained.
Would play there weekly if it wasn't 65 miles from my home
4 hour round on a holiday, couldn't be any better!!!
Great course
The staff could not have been nicer. The course wasn't very busy in the morning and it was a very relaxing round. I will come back and play again.
Very nice course. Great greens.
Challenging course, but not crazy difficult. Play the right tees for you and have a good round. Great value with the discount.
